It seems that connection speed is your main problem.
The game need to download Gygabyte of datas each time you launch it.

Try your connection speed, for exemple here : Link removed

Thank you MOD_Daz for making us respecting the rule.

The link was an Internet Website that test your connection speed.

Type "Internet Speed Tester", in any search engine...

Dunno, if you keep refreshing and not getting anywhere do you not keep accumulating (hopefully the correct term?) the downloaded MB?

Edit: Im curious is there anyone out there that has problems with Firefox after applying the fix?
Was fighting windmills from Aug 2012 to Oct 2019.

The game loads around 300MB if cache cleared:

And 150 MB if the cache is not cleared:

If so, there's obviously more stuff going on here. 300 MB takes less than 3 mins with my connection (1.8MB/s) - this game doesn't finish loading in 9 hours…

Btw, not been able to play since April 15th... I don't know why I've kept trying, but enough is enough! Life's too short for this rubbish!

One of the reason why the flash client takes so long time to download the .bin files from the cdn is because it uses only one socket to download them. If the client would use multiple sockets for downloading from cdn there would be lower chance of timeouts and the cnd would be better utilized.

The lack of caching for the bigger files is probably creating a lot more server load too, which may also result in it failing to respond for some clients.

Splitting up the bin files into chunks that the default cache settings work with is likely the easiest fix. It would also sort both the caching and the socket issue. They can't really expect all the players to make modifications to their own browsers.

It does make me wonder though, why stuff like this and the gem store being broken take so long to fix? The gem store has had issues for a couple of years now, whenever there is a sale most likely. They must have lost loads of potential sales from it, but it just gets ignored or put in the "we are actively working on a fix (but not really)" pile.

Well since your update yesterday I cannot get on at all. It has been stuck at the same point, about 1/3 along the loading bar for 8 hours now and reloads and refreshing does nothing at all. All that happens is that it's still stuck trying to load. Until yesterday I could eventually could get the game to load after about 20 mins, but today it's not happening. Whatever you did, please undo as I have tasks to complete.

I also have the same problem now on the Test page, that's not loading either!
