[Investigation] Long loading times

Can't get in right now again. About two hours stuck in same spot as guy above. Multiple refreshes. One clear cache (placebo)
If i get this thing working its staying on for whole weekend

problem started at xmas event, got much worse before easter event

Windows 10 64 bit version 1803 (from updating amd devices yesterday to try to make it better)

5. Which internet provider (Telekom, Vodafone, 1 & 1, etc.) do you use?
NCF


6. What type of Internet connection (cable, DSL, VDSL, leased line, fiber, UMTS, LTE, etc.) do you use?
adsl

7. What's the download/upload speed of that connection?
5 mb down .5 mb up

8. Is clearing the Flash Player Cache of any help?
doesnt seem to, either browser cache or flash cache

9. Does the problem also occur with other browsers?
Edge or Chrome
tried the slim browser but that dont work at all, support forum post on it seem to be outdated also

10. Was the game's tab the only tab that was opened in the browser?
Tried to no effect, also tried disabling the throttling, no effect either

Just had 1 hours wait,
was looking at task man and saw game preloads 600mb then sits there doing nothing
reboot, clear Flash settings, clear cache everything, nothing worked.....
Another hour wait later i tried switching my nic to Open DNS instead of my auto settings with ISP , and boom 20 seconds later i was in.

Added friend and couldn't see them despite few travels to and fro. Tried reloading and load time issue was right back... this time i completely disabled flash cache, task manager now shows a single chrome instance instead of previous 10, had to download the whole file obviously, but wasn't all that bad.

few minuntes after playing, i coulndt get opendns to resolve any pages for me

back to square 1 on my own isp dns, i sense my dns access is being throttled due to background network abuse from the game

Someone should try googledns and write their findings

for those still having trouble, there is a possible remedy for long loading times on the test server whereby you increase the cache size of your browser.

Thankyou, i had been trying to work out how to alter cache settings.

update: google chrome : the files all load , BUT , next time you fire it up it still re-downloads those 4 files again.
cache is now set to a seperate directory and 2GB , still the big files dont stay in cache .....

x-cache-status: MISS

update2: Firefox : working , can get back in in under 2 mins.

Hi me again,

After a long day playing and getting 6 or 7 chat reset in a row, flash crashed again.
This time i just clicked log off on homepage and logged in fresh.
Restarted browser and less than 1 minute load
P.S. I am back on my ISP DNS server, OpenDNS blocked me withing minutes of loading game last night

seems the game cant handle if the news tab gets a lot of text in it over the hours of playing and it loads it again every time you change zones and chat crashes.

why does it still take us so long to log into the game we are loosing valueable time this morning it took me 3 h its not acceptable when this has been going on since maintance i have already put in tickets to the tegs with no results i even posted here about 2 times before why is there nothing done and have have cleared cashe on my comp. we all from diffrent countries all using diffrent internets so we is the problem with the game and not with the players

It's insanly slow also from steam. Cant change browser, or refresh, so no way to change anything in the loading.

At least with broser version you can always try another one.
