In short, you've lost your eggs but the VERY important achievement points will materialise. I can't wait to hear what goodies people buy with those ;-)

Same solution they have done before- and not really a solution- makes the achievement more or less worthless in therms of being achievements. It will just mean that all players even the inactive ones will appear to have done them all.

yes - but now you dont even need to try to do the quests to get there. This is starting to be a habit. Why try to do them - we kind of know things will go wrong and they will end up just giving them to everyone. It is kind of depressing.
