I know what you mean. It's like walking into a car showroom and wanting to buy every car they have BUT you don't have enough money. So you can only buy the car you need and not every car you want.

Just be grateful that BB have given us more options of things to obtain and not just a repeat of previous events. We have the old stuff that new players will want and new stuff that the older players will want.
If at first you don't succeed, sky-diving is not for you.

TBH I got everything I wanted from the Easter event and only did 3 adventures, most of my eggs came from explorers, so no doubt this event will be the same, didn’t spend any gems

Personally I was looking forward to the big break from Easter to Halloween that only comes in a non football tournament year, since Halloween its been non stop events which seems to indicate the company is trying to get as much as it can before it ends the game much similar to Anno online.

The ball drops are laughable atm, bordering on corruption, if this event is not a kick in the face of players then I don't know what is!

Agreed... i can understand wanting us to make choices but when prespectives to get anything decent are so low might as well not even bother wth it. I understand the need for gems, but there is a reason the game is losing players faster and faster...

well in this case you cant even buy a car - but you have to pay just to be in the showroom and have a look. Then settle for the wheelbarrow you can get at the junk dealer next door.
Would be more honest of BB just to put the stuff in the merchant for gems at those rates. Who is going to do 182 Outlaws to get a demolition crew?
If for some reason support feels the need to edit what I wrote, please delete entire post instead, dont put words into my mouth that I never said.

Of course its a marketing ploy ...we get a gem happy hour roughly ever two or so weeks now used to be months apart ...they add more and more stuff to events and increase the prices of existing stuff but limit the methods you can gain the ingame resource... they know the bored players who are used to getting everything will still try to get everything ..so will either reach for a card or will use up the gems they been hoarding from gempits..

or they will trade and get the lower levels who dont have much and dont care for events but need other stuff to work and trade ..
its smart but you get to a point your greed takes over bb just because bit like the theme with buildings the more we have the less cooldown time there is they use the same method with players when there was loads the overall costs was divided by them hence prices were lower as that player base grows smaller then the remaining guys have to take on the burden of cost

    Specialists: 15577 footballs
    Buildings: 66262 footballs
    Other: 12387 footballs

Obviously prices have gone up from last year.

For comparison earning possibilities: questline has main reward of whopping 100 footballs.
Balls from explorers about half of what they found on easter.
Adventure drops about 4 times lower than on easter.
As I see the adventures drop is up to 8 times lower for this one. I got everything I wanted in Easter event, but I had to play all day long, like crazy and it was the most difficult event since I play. But this one? This one is impossible. I feel angry when i see these numbers and the greediness got out of control. It will not make me spend money, but the opposite.
For only ONE building you need to do 800 small adventures???? This means like 40 adventures a day for ONE building, rofl!!! BB needs some second grade math skills, really...

Did you lot even stop and think that it's not just what is being said but also who is doing the saying what counts. You lot are shooting yourselves in the foot.
When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's

I suspect when some people say they want everything, they just mean all the stuff they have an interest in rather than the whole event category inventory. Some of the lower level buildings and old geos/generals are no longer worth buying for players who have been around for a long time as they do not get used. They are no use to new players either though as they are priced too high and buying one would reduce your chances of getting one of the newer better versions.

The issue is the way the scales have gradually changed from:

Being able to get everything in a week with little effort.
Being able to get everything during the event with little effort.
Being able to get everything during the event with tons of effort.
Being able to get almost everything during the event with tons of effort.
Being able to get some of whats on offer with tons of effort.
Being able to get little of whats on offer with tons of effort.

    and eventually it will become

Only managing to get one thing with tons of effort.
Not managing to get anything useful no matter how much effort.

They should be reducing the prices on older stuff which is not useful anymore, things like watermills/silos/200 generals/vet generals, but with the way the floating residence price was increased despite a newer floating residence being added is a sign they might be planning to hike the prices on everything.

It's up to the developers how they want to run the game, but a lot of the player base has likely stuck around due to this not being one of those pay to win games, up until recently everything was attainable with effort without having to buy huge amounts of gems.
