My point is something has changed in the last week because log in times have never been this bad for me. So i'm suggesting that some work has been done already that has clearly made things worse for some people. Thx for the highlighted change log date was looking all over for that.
I am on Google Chrome, so I use the task manager (shift-esc pop-up menu in Chrome) to shut down flash, when it hits 500k limit first time and its CPU use really slows down. Reloading usually loads the game without issues, unless I have too much stuff loaded in browser or internet connection is too overloaded. I did apply the suggested by BB fix into Google Chrome launcher, but it just limits number of flash shutdowns with task manger to usually just 1, before game loads. The fix for loading issue is indeed badly needed. At least for Google Chrome.
Another issues, which could be addressed with UX is Observatory's malfunctioning buff for non-combat generals or getting a preset on specialists (we've got so many explorers lolz and getting still more), so they can be sent upon login with one push of a button. One could wish.
There seems to be a few bugs with this update on the french servers hope they have been fixed before we get it specailly the one with the friendship buff
I've had loads of issues trying to get in recently, and found a quick fix by using Chrome incognito mode. Not sure why it works or if it work for others, but I can get into game so whatever works!
Multi-send on Explorers has been suggested multiple times in different places including test server on threads where development team members read. Dont remember even a single comment on it though. Its like they are completely ignoring it.
I mean they have commented on all sorts of issues and developed several improvements based directly on player input but this single problem seems to always disappear into a black hole. Even a "we cant do it" would be better than current situation.
Was fighting windmills from Aug 2012 to Oct 2019.
Never had any problems logging in......... until today. Another great fix!
If that's a sign I don't want to know what will happen when event starts next week.

Back to the drawing board, I guess. No discernible difference.
