    Fix - Storm Recovery

    Hi,

Two ways you can fail this, really should not be the case that the scenario has fail conditions. It's just bad/lazy coding.

The problem with this scenario that you need collecties to make buffs, if you use them no way to get them back, so that why it is fails, nothing to do about lazy coding, it is just "story" and challenge, so deal with it.

I managed to play a lot, like 40 - 50 and failed 1 time because a lag or freeze that reverted previous buffs so I failed.

Sorry it's good programming, it's detected that you did something wrong and is making you pay the penalty for your mistake. It's like if you try crossing the road while playing the game on a smartphone. If you get hit by a bus it's your fault, you can't say he is a bad driver.

Yet the Riches of the Mountain scenario, uses the same principles works perfectly fine.

It has nothing to do with principles. Do note that Storm Recovery has a harder difficulty classification and is locked behind a higher level players. You can also find almost the full history of the scenario at the test server forums if you think its currently behaving incorrectly.

But it's clearly bugged, having guess work factor for example isn't anything to do with difficulty. During the stage for example, when you need to place the school and residences. If you pick the wrong locations, you fail? How is this not a bug.. There are plenty of plots to choose from but if you don't place them in a specific pattern you fail?

This is not a bug, it is intended and is working the way it should do.

It's not bugged, it's a mini puzzle. Sounds like you did not read the quest text at all but just randomly attempted to build things. The quest is trivial and after you have figured it out once its super easy the next time.

"Now that we've moved everything out of the way, it's time to get on with the reconstruction! Be careful, though. Not every building can be placed on every slot! Pay attention to which slots highlight when you choose a building kit, and then plan very carefully which buildings you can place where. Do you have some pen and paper around?

Note: If you run out of spaces to place the required buildings before you've placed them, you will fail this quest!"

You're mistaking poor design for a bug.

Storm recovery was explicitly designed to have a fail condition or two - when released this was stated as a way to make it more challenging/less of a click festival with no punishment for mistakes. If on an adventure you send the general with the wrong setup you get a penalty and lose troops (which costs resources to replace). With storm recovery the penalty is resources spent up to that moment
