I just tested this again and as stated on our website you get exactly the same rewards for merging your account (UK instance).
I currently manage the UK&US instances and I always try to answer players questions. Sometimes it requires more time, so there is no "immediate" answer. However, I know that I can still improve on my side and I have a lot of ideas for the future. I don't want to use it as an excuse, but now our focus is on changing the technology and we want to make sure that everyone can continue playing without any issues and I don't want anyone to miss my ideas
The easiest way is probably to just check how you are logging in (Legacy Login, Steam Login, Facebook Login, Ubisoft Login). If it's the last one, you know the answer.
The [FAQ] Ubisoft Login Guide we created is quite detailed. Sometimes, unexpected issues may arise and the best way to resolve them is to contact our support team as they can investigate.
However, based on popular issues, I may update it soon.
Well I didnt and i dont use legacy anymore as i cant wont let me only way i can sign in is via ubisoft and we had this conversation months ago when i asked you about these rewards so as i didnt get the rewards how do i and others get what everyone else got cause we managed to link our accounts without going through the profile link as until recently didnt even know that existed on this server is no posts on it from when ubisoft log in became a thing
just give us all the gift for the trouble you caused us over the years, would be a fair touch to everyone here
Thank you for the reply BB_Traffer
I appreciate it can be a challenge at times but it would be great to see this forum a hive of activity like it once was.
we all got a reward this summer if transferred here also. Maybe you dont get it any longer - I dont know. that part I dont think is different
But I also have the feeling that we dont matter much, we dont get as much info as on German server. Often we are told what is going on, when something has gone wrong by german players, when BB has not bothered telling us what is up. They never ever bothered giving us any feedback, I dont know if that is any better on german server, have not bothered trying to read it. I dont know if they actually have support over there or not, I would not mind if we had, instead of the 3 auto replies we always get.
Another interesting question is : "Do they actually do anything efficient to help people transferring to Ubi login on German server?
If they do - why dont they here??
I am starting to worry that half the players will be lost soon, and half my guild gone. Not many of us have managed to get through to the other side so far. Many have had trouble and have given up. A few have been unable to log on for a week and longer. I had trouble myself and had no help from support. Found out by listening to the real and unpaid support. The help tab and help from guidies.
If for some reason support feels the need to edit what I wrote, please delete entire post instead, dont put words into my mouth that I never said.
Updating the guide seems necessary step as there are major holes in it. To mention 2 most important for me:
- It does not answer the question of multiple worlds play at all.
- The instruction on "Migration" page of player account reads as if written for different page or form. Namely it tells you what to do on the left or right side while in reality there is only one form in the middle with nothing to do on the left or right. I mentioned that already and got no response to it.
Regarding point 1: I logged into my Ubi account of my recently started baby game. It looks like a portal full of info useless to me, but I could not find my TSO game within that Ubi account. I clearly prefer direct Legacy login as Ubi seems unnecessary cluttered middle man asking for trouble.
To be even more specific, it is not clear if there will be two worlds accessible from one Ubi account (where and how), or if each world requires separate Ubi account to remain accessible. So not even talking about download transition client or Unity, just the migration to Ubi presents enough problems not clarified in your guide.
Overall, hearing players not able to log in, losing their account when trying migration, confused instructions etc. just gives me zero confidence to migrate my main account, so holding back until things are clarified.

As Norton said- it does not include all the problems people might have:
If they have an Ubisoft account already. If the mail address they have, on that is different from the one on settlers. If they have an old settlers account that is inactive and the email for that is the one you used on the ubisoft account, and you dont know either nick or password for that. When you write support, they just tell you to write from the other email,- no matter what email you try to contact them from in the first place.
Even people who does not have any of these issues make it through without trouble, because - as Norton pointed out, the guide does not match what we actually see as a player. I am sorry I did not make any screenshots, so cant be very specific. But one major problem is that the first you see after you start the process and have logged on via Ubi login - is a create new game button. There is also another option, to use existing, but it is very hard to spot, so a lot of players start a new settlers account by mistake. Now they have to go into the change settings option on the homepage, delete that account - then wait 2 weeks and then try again.
I am a school teacher I work with computers every day and help students with their computer. I had issues - it was not that easy for me, for reasons stated above. I have guild members who are not that good with computer program settings, and I am worried that I might lose friends in this mess.
I dont get why BB does not write to people and inform them directly. They should have emails and be able to see who does not have this sorted yet.

The guide explains how to move from legacy to ubisoft, not from facebook to ubisoft.
