Win7 works without an issue for me. From what I read it needs to be 64 bit version? Give more details of the problems you experience so guys here can help you. Check if your Win7 is 32 or 64 bit version.

EDIT: Went to check if mine is 64 bit, and it is.

I fixed my problem by copying the client.exe fie and.swf file into the 'Client' folder manually. I think Windows is shielding this for none administrator accounts.

i am IT illiterate so not happy with doing any of these things - i want my IT to be just switch it on and activate an app so it is a bit like my car (turn the key, select a gear and press a pedal)

Not working on Win 7 Pro 64 bit and Firefox last version. Already trying for two days...

I downloaded and installed the file. I succeeded to login but everytime when I press "Play" it just reloads the page and nothing else.
The fix that hades8840 offered does not work for me - creating the folder "Client" and recording his "client.swf" file.

Restarting, reinstalling, recopying the "client.swf" file, starting directly the "client.exe"- nothing works... The good news is that I can buy gems... (oh, somebody already noticed this)

I mentioned that in the description the name of the file that we have to download is "The Settlers Online Installer RC1.exe" but indeed the downloaded file is without this RC1. Does this matter?
