Selecting the bridge does not result in the three swamp areas being highlighted as normally happens. You can apply the bridge and they will show up but you need to know where to put them. That is with performance mode off btw. With performance mode on, you can't even see the bridges after you apply them until you reboot.

The same happens for the application of the other items in that scenerio as well, i.e. the broadsheets to the residents and the rescue party -no highlighting of the targets to apply buffs to.
