Heres a suggestion: Rollback to a stable and playable game

I am sure many of us want to see our friends come back that couldn't play anymore when you switched to an interim solution that prevented most people that weren't on Windows 64bit.

But there is no point in implementing the worst early-alpha solution I've seen and call it the production code.

Please can we have a roll-back to pre-Unity.

That's what I said before. What's the point introducing something which nobody can play in order to save those few who could not play before?

It doesn't feel like there was any progress made on the test server since the first unity release and now that broken version has been made live?

The game is completely unplayable for me with the current unity client, most the menus don't show up properly and the constant zone refreshes mean the game is not responsive the majority of the time.

I get the impression the devs were caught with their pants down with flash being disabled. They had a good opportunity to rebuild the game properly with unity, but instead all they seem to have done is copy and pasted the actionscript code and then done minimal modifications so the game manages to load.

Games like Factorio and Satisfactory do a really good job of interacting with the community on getting bugs sorted and their deveopment teams aren't big.

3+ years is plenty time to pull your pants up. Flash demise was a surprise to no one, neither is the lack of engagement and delivery of garbage.

I'm happy that there is finally version which doesn't require installation, so I'm able to play the game on computers where I don't have option to install anything.
But this benefit doesn't equalize this terrible gameplay experience with Unity version I have right now.
Please let us use "client" version till time you improve response and loading times of Unity version.

Right, after giving it a few more tries and a few thoughts I support this. Return flash client back and run it simultaneously until Unity works at least a little. It's not that hard to do.

I have no emails in inbox, Star menu is unserviceable, chat is on & off, can't copy & paste text from chat anymore, as a Guild leader I cannot sort members by active/inactive or GQ done, takes ages to go to addies, some buildings show they can be upgraded whereas in fact they are fully upgraded, game freezes constantly, hovering mouse cursor doesn't give production time left anymore, online indicators are gone.. I could continue for a long time.
I have never ever complained about the game in Forum, but this Unity version really takes the biscuit. Please, we want the Client back, what does it cost to still be able to play with a Client -- as before? I'm sure BB Devs have worked a lot on this Unity-based game, and it does look nice -- particularly the Pathfinder Quests List, and the Mayor's House inventory. Pity it is also unplayable.
