I have read all the messages you and other players sent to me regarding this issue.
The dev team is working to fix this, at the moment I would suggest trying some of the workarounds posted on the forum.
I am able to log in one time out of about twenty tries. No land or able to anything other than click the daily log in and call it a day.
I have noticed with my partners account that they get in every time however takes a few log ins and outs to achieve landfall. It seems that if they are presented with the rolling hills splash screen they will have rolling hills. Like a package deal!
Not sure if this is in anyway relevant, just a quirk I noticed.
I have been unable to get past hammerman since 4th August update - My daughter, "Daenerys_Storm", is able to log in using my same computer and browser. It appears the 'hammerman' problem is related to specific users and not their hardware/systems/browsers.

I still can't access my mail. It's just ....empty.....
No settlers on Newfoundland or Ares for me since 4th August. I have the hammer man. I have done everything suggested, including updating Java.
I am able to get into Testing2 and have been playing on there for two days because I miss my game and I really miss my friends in chat. I want my game back! Hurry BB, it may not seem urgent to you but it is very very urgent in my little world at the moment........sigh
