Why are multiplayer adventures considered not to be co-op.

This is quite funny really- i didnt dare to ask the question so lad someone else did :

The difference between a coop and a multiplayer is that the classic multiplayer you can do with one or more people but even 1 person can clear all camps if they so choses.

On a co-op the map is divided in different sectors and only one player can clear that sector (the escape is you can use buffs on all camps on the map so you can "cheat" a co-op's intention.

The co-ops were created to force players to do real multiplayer gameplay because otherwise the co-op maps are pretty much undoable. The classic multiplayer youc an solo to your hearts content

Multiplayer implies very firmly that you have to have multiple players per se. So imho all "multiplayer" adventures should be considered as co-op...

co-op is a special version of multiplayer with more restrictions

It is a qualification that doesn't necessarily need to be grammatically correct etc-

it is what it is and what you think about it. is not very relevant- it is just names attached to a kind of adventures. If you look at the information on the adventure, it is listed on there what type of adventure it is

The regular adventures are called missions, then u have mini missions which can be singleplayer or multiplayer- there are ventures, fairy tale adventures- once again can be single player or multiplayer - - next time look on the adventure details and you will know what type it is if you mouse over one in star menu, the pop up will show that info as well
