Well in all fairness to Dragavon, the unity TEST was announced in the March of 2021, and I quote " to start in 2-3 weeks " So pretty fair to say that BB have had `nearly' a year to get the switch to Unity to work ... and i think we can all agree it is nothing like it was before, or still is on client version.
Are we to be told of adventure changes or not? 1 Month on and still SNEAKY RB changes have not been mentioned

we all know it was a bad rushjob that went wrong

Fixing broken stuff then gets more difficult and time consuming than investing in doing it right the first time around

We don;t know ho wrong they have been tinkering behind the scenes either- for all we know it was 3 years or they started 2 weeks before launch

They launched in summer and hit snags - I kinda believe that they were running a lot better on internal servers while developing it for a variety of reasons:

    1) They are not completely insane so wouldnt deliberately launch something that they didnt think was fixable in the short run (others have done it and to be honest- all instances where a beta failed and they launched, the failure on launch was even greater so the premise doesnt seem tohold in reality )
    2) Internal server for development probably is quite a high end server and not standing in same serverfarms as the live versions so doesnt experience the same limitations
    3) They can never mimick the real serveloads on the internal server so the limitations that seem to hinder the game, caused by excessive processing do not manifest themselves
    4) On live servers the islands and storage and mails are much more filled than they tested with- The more stuff u have in queues, mail and star menu and the more buffs you run and more buildings you have, the more the game struggles and then reaches a tipping point after which it just isnt playable
    5) Many players run machines than are older than 6 months to a year or cheaper specced with older chips - These too seem to keel over due to processing

It all seems to point to stuff that is not really solvable in the current unity built unless they redesign a lot on the back end or make some more fundamental changes to the game- neither seems to be something they want to do

Leaves tweaking the loads and hope people will be able to play and passage of time and people buying computers that can better handle the load (and them having more powerful servers to handle the back end) -

Indicative of the poor state that Ubi is in. The tech press has covered their staff shortages and dissatisfaction and by inference their poor management.

The maintenance will have been scheduled by one part of the organisation and implemented by another.
Priorities are unlikely to be the same for either or indeed the players.

But no doubt they are "working hard" to fix things :/

Still, some perspective is needed. It's a free game.

    Hey all.

The maintenance will be extended by 2 hours, but we will include more bug fixes.

You can find the list of additional changes here.

    no, all inferred stuff

But we know that test runs better than live servers. In some case a whole lot better (which was the case with the last maintenannce/upgrade which worked very well on test but on same machine there was not a whole lotof improvement i noticed on live servers)

We know that people with more powerfull machines have less problems

We know that players with less buildings/buffs etc have less issues

We have been told that they will upgrade the servers to fix some of the issues

Those are all facts or information from reliable sources - If you then translate those into the issues we see, u get more or less that narrative or something fairly similar but BB will not confirm of deny a lot of that so we will never know all the facts in this case

Performance: Implemented a possible fix for "JavaScript Error" and "Uncaught Range Error"

First time I've heard of a possible fix , if they know what they are doing it either works or doesn't , there is no ''maybe''/''possibly''
