    Where have my gems gone?

Twice in the last 4 days I have "lost" hundreds of gems.
Both times when I have logged on after being away for a couple hours I have lost gems this time about 300 the time before more than 150.
I was going to buy some gems but not now incase they go missing.

This may be linked in some way to the deaded "Zone Refresh" as the last one happened whilst I was looking at it and the Zone Refresh
message came up at the same time

It has happened again. Still seems to have some connection to Zone Refresh.
I have now stopped all gem pit production, there doesn't seem much point in prducing gems just to have them disappear again. #
I hope someone at BB is taking notice or is this just going to be added to the long list of bugs with the unity version.

    Ahhh- gems from gem pits

    and zone refresh:

    That rings a bell

What happens sometimes on a zone refresh is a mini rollback - so the game seems to process stuff client side (and shows it done) and then the zone refresh hits and that task is all of a sudden undone .

Next time you have this, also check if the amount of gems in the gempits have rolled back to the higher number- in that case it is a timing issue and optical more than anything else.

Option 2: run your gempits overnight and when you are offline. The game mechanics will calculate the production rate for you and you have no impact from ZR feature

Not running your gempits will impact your ability to improve your island a lot more ove rthe lifetime of this ZR feature than the occational rollback or even lost gems, so if you feel insecure to run it while you are online,m run em while you are offline (the mechanics of offline production calculations have been explained by BB in one of the dev diaries BTW)
