I'm intrigued to know what BB have done to correct their error. I've lost all my ill-gotten buildings & seem to have vast numbers of football collectibles but I'm not sure what else has changed as I'm not short of weapons, buffs etc & don't know what I had before I 'bought' the bundles.
So after the hot "fix" I seem to have no chat except whispers.
Also the green lights have disappeared that show who is online, unless I am the only one playing which tbh I have wondered at times over the last few months!
& the game is playing even more clunkily than usual. I think it is all the attempts to reach the chat server? & even though I minimise the window the 'can't reach' message is driving me nuts.

yep - causes alot of traffic that slows the whole game down -- maybe do something like
try as often for 30 seconds to connect than every minute for 2 minutes and than every 10minutes so it doesn't spiral
I suspect they're just as capable of changing that algorithm as they are of fixing the chat server in the first place.
But...I understand the programmer mindset...just now I couldn't help thinking well if they can't fix the chat, at least allow "open" invitations into multi-player addies. As if somehow that might be easier to build than just fixing chat... (though I still think it's a good idea anyway!)
