To: Appropriate Readers,
The following suggestion will have to be explained by an example. The zone-wide buff called, "Winter Paint", which has an effect of covering your island in a light coated frost, though just a decorative buff; and before going on, again, this is just a suggestion; the decorative buff should have some kind of advantage to the player: when an island is covered in a light-coated snow, then battles against an environment, should reflect to the player's advantage, whom have applied the decorative buff; whether that buff would give a player's army with a higher damage outtake during battles, or have the enemy's damage reduced, because of such a realistic decorative buff, should be considered by the developer to add a sense of realism, and thus, prove that the game is immersive, rather than just a simulative experience.
I'm sure that there are many decorative buffs that could follow from such an example provided. It would be in a player's hope that game developers would consider such an in-game measure.
