Still happening - just had to log out due to issue with event not starting properly, and couldn't log back in. Same error.
Only had to wait about 6 or 7 minutes before it worked though.

Same shit, different day.
Logged out as battle animation got stuck (showing battle in progress still after victorious general returned) - can't log back in.
Wasting event time.
Yep, I know quite a few who've given up using the browser/web version due to this. I actually just had very strange bug where I got shown a dialog for an addy I'm not even doing, but that froze the whole game. Tried to reload and same error. But I've definitely found it usually then works after about 6 or 7 minutes, sometimes more, and/or a few retries.
