Why no change log for 10/08/2023

As per the title, can't say I've seen an update previously where they say the changes will be reported after the fact?

It has happened before so nothing new here

Also: as the maintenance was postponed, that usually means either something needs to be taken out or something important is being pushed hard to be included

Both usually mean they wont know until the time that they put together the update package, what will be in it

(and that usually is late in the day, when community managers are rushing out of the office :P)

So i expect they will be writing/finishing the changelog in the morning and post it during or shortly after maintenance - not ideal but it has happened before - just not recently

Yea they changed their policy lately and change logs will be posted after the maintenance.

From German forum again by BB_Ondgrund:

Things can easily change at short notice. Sometimes you're not sure if a fix will make it into a release or not. Sometimes you notice a problem shortly beforehand during the internal tests and have to postpone a fix. Changes to changelogs are not seen by everyone and always lead to confusion, which we want to avoid. Therefore, we try to announce the update itself as far in advance as possible so that you can prepare for the interruption, but we will wait with the changelog until the update is also there.

NEW FEATURES

New Event: This update includes the technical implementation of this year's anniversary event, which starts on August 14th!


CHANGES & IMPROVEMENTS

Events: Fixed an issue where events would not start correctly for some players.
Buildings: Residential buildings with a Christmas look can no longer be moved to actually unavailable spots.


KNOWN PROBLEMS

There are currently issues with the Balloon Market Tribute, which may cause its reward to be collected twice. It can also happen that the associated quest does not appear again after the waiting time. We are working to fix both of these issues as soon as possible.
