Brilliant - 7-10 day building upgrades underway on the assumption that the event is near the end of Aug like last year, and if it was earlier we would get some notice, but no. Players treated like mushrooms again and the first wiff of the event date is oh by the way it will start on the 14th.
Short surprise events lasting a few days - ok with a few days notice, but major events - please show some common sense and give us NOTICE.
You have had the update showing as scheduled on the 31/07 so why could that not also say this includes the next event that will provisionally start on the 14th.

Oh dear, suspected you probably would sneak the Anniversary Event into this maintenance, clearly no point in us reporting fromthe Test Server as you don't take any notice of our findings.
Thankfully held off from attempting to upgrade PH and Barracks, been wanting to do both of those for several years but there never seems to be enough time between events.
We love our new CM.

Events: Fixed an issue that caused events to not start correctly for some players
not fixed, I can't get back into the game, keep getting aww snap error or lost connection error after a very long wait
