    Mine sits on the splash screen for a while, then I get the "Server is going to be shut down for maintanence" message.

    Same here, server shutdown for Maintenace.

    Nothing like an event start followed up by an outage the same day.

    unscheduled “maintenance” ?

    I think I am happy that I put my cemeteries to sleep right after I build them, this is after all not the first unscheduled “maintenance” after an event start.
