Connection Issue - connection to the server is lost

Hello, my account is on Sandycove world/server.

Since three days, my gameplay is interrupted by frequent disconnection from the game server and general lag (running into 40-60 seconds) at times.

I use Google Chrome web browser and have a stable broadband connection.

While I am playing normally, an animation comes up of a settler hitting a CPU unit with the title 'Connection issue' and a message "Connection to the server is lost....."

While I admit it does not completely break my gameplay but this is now happening too frequently (11 times in the last 4 hours) and at times I have to refresh the browser.

Making this post for Trafffer's information as he had suggested in the game world chat. If this issues continues, will raise a ticket tomorrow.

it occurs more when shifting to other ppls islands , or adv's.
buffing another players island is very hard this way because it does not register all your placed buffs due to connection loss.
