So far on Ali's I've found Juan to be approximately equal to Mary. As for Mira for large sac waves he is better than Tavern, Battle Hardened, Big Helm and Medic gens as he returns more lost troops than those.
Mary has 200 troops and no splash damage- looks like Juan is a Boris/Doris clone to me. Would have been very surprised if they came up with anything new at this point.
