Guildfest rewards issue

But the weird thing is they kept saying the Guild Fest was going to run at some time in January after the Christmas event. Why on earth did they start it so suddenly before the Christmas event, with no warning, and with so many bugs?? They had time ahead of them, the only ones who put any pressure on them to rush it out were BB themselves.

I agree with you. Very, very strange. Everyone expected to get Gold and gor Silver. Shame BB.

I have played in events like this before, as many will have, and you have to keep fighting till the bitter end and that in a split second someone can pip you to the post. You have to wait to find out. As a tactic, or through not checking their star, or until some switched on person says don't forget to check you have opened all your bags, suddenly lots of tokens from bags will have been deposited and everything change in a nano second.

Whether we all started at 'Good Try' or in 'Gold' there would be drawbacks , I am more motivated by trying not to slip down than to have to step up and it seeming impossible.

With regard to the Leader Board not being accurate this may be the case maybe it was bugged. It is sad that we have to see it frozen in time until next Maintenance and inclusion of the Christmas Event. Of course, it would not be an exceptional error if the timing was that close.

My Guild has only 14 members and not all were available to take part but those that could worked relentlessly, despite believing it unlikely we would get past 'Good Try'. As we all started in Gold we saw ourselves slip into Silver and back up into Gold we were within 50K at one point below the bottom of the leader board and we fought hard to get on it even if it was for a few minutes. 50/90K we knew we could get within a few hours. But of course all had the same thought But then none of us could get into the game for nearly a whole morning which took that possibility away.

We did get Gold and so happy because yes, as we thought, small is not just beautiful it is workable. It must be that the event is structured to give all a fair chance whatever the size of their membership. It really is for Guilds of 2 and upwards.

Hearty congratulations to the winner, and all on the leader board - we didn't make it this time but maybe next, who knows, what we do know is that we shall try.

That's great and all, but we never slipped from gold. In fact, it still says our current rank is gold, yet only rewarded for silver. We burned so many co-op addys and buffs trying our damnedest to hold onto the gold but never knowing where we placed because the ranking doesn't show. Opened all the reward bags, running multiple co-ops at a time every single day. I never expected we'd take first, but to get rewarded for a rank below our standing? It's crap. BB owes us 3k more commendations. We put in maximum effort and got less than their system said we should.

BB needs to payout every guild the prize for the reported ranking of that guild. And then fix it before they release this debacle on us again. And give back the 4 building licenses they stole to setup the Guild Fest island. (grounds + 3 banners).

The final scores are locked in place after the Donation Phase. Only then will the final tally be determined and every guild will be placed into their respective reward tier relative to how they performed against other guilds on their server. This can differ from the expected placement since all guilds are accumulating scores as quickly as possible during the Donation Phase.

They don't even own up to their own bugs, and the fact that they have know about this problem all the time. or according to others it was described at German forum around 2nd of December.

The right thing to do would have been:
1 . Inform us about the bug right away
2. even better- fix the bug
3. or - give all the prize they was promised = gold if it said gold.

But no - instead they chose the ostrich approach - just pretend nothing is wrong and hope no one notice.

If only we had been told how it would work and a proper test had been done and best of all any faults found on test rectified, they had until January. We were not expecting it. I feel really bad for your Guild and others that felt cheated out of what they had worked so hard for. Of course my guild being so small our expectation was far short of what we actually got but we did work our socks off as well and it was only the actual leader board showing the results of the top 10 and how close we were that kept us going.

We can only hope that it will be resolved for next time with a lot more information from BB and I hope you do get gold next time, even win.
