Maybe you could consider lifting the lifetime forum bans on players who dared to complain about Ubisoft and the way the game was being run? Apparently complaining about them was offensive and lead to a lifetime ban! Complaining about new content when the game was barely playable was grounds for a ban. Complaining about the gem sales when the game was unplayable was grounds for a ban. Suggesting that they fix all the broken elements of the existing game before bringing in new content was grounds for a ban. Being upset about the killing of a game that we'd played for years was grounds for a ban. The complaint about the 4x increase in the cost of (fewer) gems was grounds for a ban.

All of the above was a lifetime forum ban; not just a week or a month ban but a lifetime ban!

I understand that such decisions may still stir emotions, even years later. However, we don't plan to re-evaluate forum bans issued in the past. These were made based on the context and background available at the time. Especially in the case of lifetime bans, we trust they were not handed out lightly and were made for good reasons back then.

Welcome to TSO.
You have an uphill battle ahead of you. Many of us players have been ignored by the past administrators of this game.
One of the many pet peeves is that they never really answered questions and would spout the same platitude for different issues.
Another is that they would misinterpret our requests and questions. I fear that this may be happening all over.

I think you are missing jrgk69's point. Many of those bans were not issued for good reasons. Rather they were issued to avoid giving a real answer or to ignore questions altogether.

I, for one, feel that many of those players should be allowed to participate again.

My 2 cents are to not waste time in rehashing the past and re-investigating what was a good, a bad or a dubious ban. It will lead to endless discussions and a ton of wasted CS and development time

Most of theplayers that were banned have moved on to other games and unbanning them, will not result in them reappearing. The ones that didnt want to move on mostl likely made new accounts with a new e-mail and are merrily playing or disrupting away anyway (we know of a few examples on Newfoundland of players reappearing on a new account, some of em multiple times)

If there is someone that still wants to ressurect their old account instead of making a new one, they can always try to contact cipsoft and plead leniency - but my impression is that this will at most be a handful across servers

(lets be honest- The BB lifetime ban thing was a joke at best as they could ensure that people didnt come back on another account and even when it was pointed out to them.moderatos knew and even having public confessions about their re-incarnation, BB just let it slide)

For now, I'd say share them the way you are used to. Ideally in Game Suggestions.

I wrote here, it would be nice if your company can improve the experience on mobile because it is enough hard at moment (I tried with android and Opera GX but few essential feature not works like the input values not trigger the android keyboard to chat or write quantity into the trade input fields) also adding the bulk sending and templating for buff/generals would be nice what the client knows right now (ex. bulk general sending was promised and was screenshot from the BB about it but sadly never was released)

At the moment, we cannot give a reliable answer to that since we don't want to make empty promises that are build on speculations. As mentioned in the FAQs, our current priority is the entire transition and migration. We need to ensure a stable foundation before we can focus on expanding and evolving The Settlers Online.

I understand that point of view. Nonetheless, for the reasons I stated in my previous reply, we don't intend to re-evaluate old forum bans.
