Are the emails going out in batches? Have heard from friends on the two servers that I play on that the e-mail from Cipsoft has been received, but nothing in my inbox yet.
Will the inactive accounts be transferred also?

Yes, since it's a huge number of emails that is being sent, they go out in batches. They are sent by Ubisoft, not by CipSoft. Have you received the email in the meantime?

Some of my friends are panicking. They've already received the email from Ubisoft and, as instructed in the paragraph, clicked here. They were then redirected to the account page where they could delete their account, not to a page where they could file an appeal.
Now they're panicking. Have they already lodged an appeal with this action, or is there a page or text where they're explicitly informed that they want to appeal?
I don't want to start this process now either, because I'm so confused!
To object, you need to check the box next to "Data transfer to CipSoft" and then click "Change." A message will appear stating that the setting has been changed. Even if you did this by mistake, you can change it within the time limit. To do so, simply uncheck the box and click "Change" again. To check, simply reload the "My Profile" page. If no check mark is selected next to "Data transfer," then no objection has been filed.
Yes, this problem is known and unfortunately cannot be easily addressed in the short term. It's due to the, how can I put it, "ancient" forum software. In many cases, the written content is still there even after clicking the "back" button. But the safest option is actually to copy what you wrote.from Thorgast Show post
PS: Yeah...and maybe other forum software, too. Sometimes, after posting, you just get a blank page...and the post is gone. But the smart person uses CTRL-C. ;-)

I hope they not listen to either of you, because when i started the whole game way way harder, was no guild, for long time veteran general was the best then they added grim reaper and battler hardened etc, was no guild, no help, right now i see many player leave even the guild members helps to the new players like give a dozen of coin, army, buildings, other resources, event resources which makes to new players very easy.... lv80 players sometimes just login and often maybe just talk because easy to reach lv80 and nothing to do afterwards if at the moment there is no event (or if have event but the rewards not enough good)...
When this game was started the browser game had it is own gold era, now the smart device era, the new generation not really play a game if that not works on phone/tablet etc, so making this game works on phone/tablet + stable servers/events + frequently good update (quality of life improvements) would give way more benefit than make easier something which already easy, in long term the too easy progress lead the players leave because of no challenge, more player left because of critical server stability, when was events where we not was able to play which make the players more frustrated and together with nearly no customer support it is way worst than progressing slowly, also with guild help but i restarted this game last year november and i am already lv73, so i cannot complain about the speed at all (starfall questchain with guild is very great help compared with the past)

So you played years ago but quit I guess because it was too hard. And restarted last year from lvl 1 and are 73 now with the help of free stuff from a guild and starfall?
My wish is that someone from CipSoft who has never played the game - makes an island and starts at from the beginning and plays solo, i.e. without a guild and freebies to see what it is like. The game isn't hard, it never was. It is an exercise in patience though and if you are given stuff and just level up buildings fast and then have nothing to do, i.e. no adventures to do, people get bored and quit.

No, i quit because of real life issues, also in that time was:
- NO starfall
- NO excelsior with free gems
- NO uber generals (best was VETERAN and MMA and later MAJOR general which means WAY higher cost for each adv, because more loss)
- NO client
- NO PFB (i guess neither premium) or easy buffs
- NO improved buildings (maybe except the imp watermill) or magnified builds
- less good event rewards and so on - i talk about 2011-2014 - the golden era of the game).
Why any new player would go and play this game without guild? the devs intentionally added the guild, guild quests, sometimes guildfest, it is like you play an MMORPG but u never do any team thing, it makes 0 sense, like building an economy but you want to do it without any wood..
Biggest issue since i am here, and most of player complained about those (few of them already changed with Cipsoft):
- the server stability which very very bad impression for the new players (cannot play during the events because the server and hammerman)
- the game itself lack of several quality of life feature (veteran players with hundred of explorers cannot handle with browser)
- no communication, they not cared about the users and their feedback (when i left was a lot forum event check now the forum)
- game technology outdate (eg. cannot play on phone when most of user use phone to play in this world, world evolved in last 15 years, the game not much)

So people have the option to play solo or in a guild without masses of help which ruins the game for many players - it is one thing to make it preferable quite another to make it required. That is why I suggested it. And you never mentioned if you started a new island from level 1 last November or just continued on from where you quit.
And yes server stability is a problem but it seemed okay before they did the football event update. And veteran players don't need to send out explorers all the time - it is just their choice to do so. No one who just started last November is going to have a problem sending out a lot of explorers - that isn't an issue new players experience at all.
started from 0, i lost the account probably with the 2014 September account migration....
On the old account the biggest help was the forum and social media events from BB, in that time they was active and you was able to win gem via joining to the forum and fb events
I know more players who were very frustrated because of the valentine event (was unplayable for days) also if someone go to the holiday then very hard to play from mobile (few thing it is technically even impossible)
About the sending out explorers are choice, true, same choice than you join to guild or no, both cases you can gain so much and lose (if not send the explorers/not join to a guild), so i do not understand why should someone complain if know the benefit but choice the slower way?
You said the new players are not doing adv, i did it when was lower, BR/Siege, later Horseback/Outlaws etc they are not hard, but with this philosophy the lv80 players also do less or no adv (except event), no starfall etc because it give no benefit, i think most beauty in this game is the progressing/growing and strategy how you plan to do that, that is the essence of the game and that already enough fast (at least the leveling part, in 1-2 weeks i was over level 30 and joined to guildfest event with doing Sieges with normal generals, quests nearly help enough much until player can do adventures and buying example a YGG makes huge difference as well in early game)
