2025 Halloween Event - Feedback

Greetings,
This is intended. It was reduced from 3 to 1 for this event. Generally speaking, the availability for gems can vary from event to event, and sometimes certain offers are not available at all during a specific event but may re-appear in various ways in the future.

I totally understand if it is limited to event resources, but the 3 limit not was huge if you think it can be compared with money and compared how it was in the previous years, there damn much boxes already which you can repeat but shop still have the same content since long and limit is not refreshed...

... it is so weird to nerf the gem items what the players buy with money, it is like you say: ok guys, do not buy gems for this game because ~everything limited to 1
- current event postponed
- in this year we not have the Mercenary Adventure Season (normally it is in August)
- i guess we will have no Guild Fest (end of Nov or early Dec)
We totally understand, there is migration and so on, but then at least please allow the old limits for this event, to have equal chances for the new players too....

It is unfair if in the past was allowed to get the same general with 3 limits and now not limited to 1 and also now alternative option for getting rare generals, compared how it was in the previous years, same with the explorers.

Our current plan is to start the Halloween event on either October 27, 28, or 29. The exact date and time will be announced as soon as they have been decided.

Any idea when a date will be selected? We are patiently waiting for confirmation....

we've just published a news article for a downtime tomorrow (technical implementation of the Halloween Event), including the start date:

Due to the migration, we're still unable to access the changelog we prepared for the Halloween Event. We're in contact with Ubisoft to resolve the issue and hope to be able to publish it on Monday or Tuesday. Sorry for making you wait.

What is the reason for removing the Younger Gemini General? We have quite some new guildies who were looking forward to purchasing that one as it's super efficient for the lower level adventures. Really disappointing that it seems to have been removed...

Removed items
These were useful items from last year's merch and have now been removed and/or moved into a bundle:

• Bewitching Explorer (moved into bundle)
• Shotfirer

Limits
Some items are limited to one purchase only. Can we have an increased limit? Something like 3-5, maybe?

• Ghost gen
• Ghost lantern

New items

• Witch Coven is an interesting one. I still have to find out how I can upgrade it. Need to find the "Curiosity killed the Cat" quest.
• Otherwordly shack is a nice combination of storage and zone buffs. Some more useful zone buff would be nice.
• Weathered Notebooks - Given the event is 21 days long and no one will have it from the beginning, perhaps the 1 per 24-hour limit is too long. However, the new explorer can also bring this back, but only above level 50.
• Dr Totenstein Dwellings - It's a useless building, but everyone will build and upgrade it, because it looks soo cool.
• Ghost explorer - It's a nice new explorer with interesting and nice rewards

Question
What to do with those 20 Weathered Notebooks? I noticed we can drop it on the Witch Coven building, but nothing really happened.

Conclusion and suggestions
The new buildings' design is amazing! Same as last year, big kudos to the design team! Last year, they designed the very cool Levitating Haunted Warehouse, and this year, all new buildings have amazing layouts with their animations. Well done!

Unfortunately, none of the new buildings are tradable. Make a few tradable, please. At least the Notebooks are tradable. Trading is/should be a very important part of this game!

Please change the very strict limits and increase them to at least 2-3.

The merch has improvements compared to last year. I'm happy to see that you left some standalone items in the merchandise as we asked for. Also, it's good to see that some items are available to buy with gems as well. So, it's a good progress! Thanks for listening to us.

It was not removed. It's available 1x for 6999 Pumpkins. The changelog only lists changes. If something is not listed there, no change was made.

The Witchy Grimoire Pages are needed to upgrade the Witch Coven. For example, to upgrade it to level 2 you need to apply each of the Witchy Grimoire Pages 1 to 15.
