Soooooo....
The only option to get those buildings is: Spend gems?
Island is full already. No space.
For years already.
Also I don't have gems.
I did have an Amiga 500 and the settlers on it. When it came out.
1993.
When I was young. And the settlers was fun.
lighten up, youve got a big heart
Was fighting windmills from Aug 2012 to Oct 2019.
It's the 30th Anniversary, plain and simple.
Not the 29th just because it took longer to port to inferior machines, in fact for a select few it's the 31st Anniv as we were testing the late versions in 1992/3.
So this should have been a major event, in keeping with the 10th, 20th and 25th Anniversaries, not another damp squib gem sale
We love our new CM.
Newfoundland: 20th November 2011 to 25th November 2014. RIP
It was good while it lasted.
Anniversary event is always a gem shop but 30yrs without a special event is a shame - just the same as last year with a few new (unwanted) buildings
Does XP and loot bonus for adventures go for 2 weeks or 3 weeks to the full end? Can't remember.
always till end of the event phase- the deactivation days do not have a bonus
So 28/8 is end of bonus
deaqctivation phase is not a week in this event but just 3 days as there is no event goodies shop just a gem shop - u get 3 days to accept the ocmpleted quests/phase2 reward quest
"This quest chain only starts after the anniversary tutorial main quest "Party Preparations" has been done."
And the first step relies on collectibles... potentially an 8 hour wait then.
Genius way to kick things off ..... NOT
Tremble appears to be missing in shop other then in a package
A very disappointing first day of event. The Prep Quest is a bad start when people have come online earlier than they usually would to ensure an efficient start.
Every event most Guilds do preparatory work of some kind to ensure their members know what to expect.
New players do not have a problem as most are grabbed by some Guilds as they arrive and are usually well looked after.
In my view the Prep Quest is not needed at all. Especially as there are 21 with 3 sub quests to follow. Many will struggle with the time to complete them all.
Lastly it looks like Tremble Beard has done a runner under the nose of the Developers who promised him. Or was he abducted by Aliens? - who knows. Please put him back there are those that need him and some will buy both the bundle and him on his own.
