Where are the chickens

Ok, so I collected the "frightened" chickens. Now I need to put them on the nests. Where are they?

I couldn't find them so I thought I had to "calm" them first, so created the calming wellness thing. The only place I could use these buffs was the nests, which had no chickens. So I used the wellness buff on each of the nests, and nothing!!!

It's not just me, my online friend has the same issue but hasn't used the buffs on the nests yet as there are no chickens there.

you collect the frightened chickens from the island,
go to prov house,
make the calm chickens with them,
place them on the nests,
then you use the wellness kits.
