So why, given I've been playing every day for about 3yrs with the exception of a week off abt 355 days ago, is it saying I have about 10 days to go until I unlock the achievement...?

Because the count started the day achievements became active

i dunno i been playing daily since 2012 probably had 10 days off in all that time when my laptop was in repair shop and i still have to complete it as they brought them in part way through and not took into account all things had done previously as that would be to hard to do 1 by 1

then again, the problem could be something simple like the egg conversion script gave everyone 200k coin per egg instead of 2,7 coin and they have to do a rollback of maintenance, fix script and rerun it :P

but if they stop doing what they are doing- the servers wont restart ever- which seems a bit drastic at this point )

So nobody has that achievement then? Okay, my bad...though didn't we get a whole load of gems because they were enabled retroactively...?

Edit (Don't know why I'm complaining, am going to be offline for a week starting about three days before I was due to hit the achievement so wouldn't have got them anyway...)

extended maintenance been going on for 6 hours now,
ive cleaned out my nose, been picking around for 6 hours, at least ive done something productive

man, i have joined Anno online and The West, all in an effort to keep myself amused while this is down... i've basically come up in those worlds as much as I can to the point that i'm stuck, and STILL settlers keeps me waiting, waaaaah! what shall i join now?? lol
