A while back the Landing Zones disappeared on these advs, so generals unable to land armies to complete them.
So, I have a pile of adventures I can no longer play, and I think I know why.
Just like some of the rather sad new advs have been rehashed out of the Easter Egg maps, it appears the Devs rather lazily decided to reuse the Euro cup adventure maps for the World Cup event, but typically made a hash out of it, and clearly haven't reset all the flags to make these 'unique' World Cup matches.
So now I'm stuck with a pile of adventures I can no longer play, because I can't land on them.
This event is already looking like a disaster in the making, but why on Earth did you also have to break what already existed and was an enjoyable set of adventures?
Try this "achievement system".
Read bug reports.
Fix them, don't file as 'no bug' on the test server.
Read feedback, and realise the players have been here a long time, and know how the game works, and what messes it up.
Reset test server, and don't let anything leave it untested/unfixed.
Note: testing the login queue is not a real test of feature functionality.
PS:
following answer to support ticket over the servers going awol for over 8 hours just before Easter, have the Devs finally concluded that we genuinely lost premium days, adventures and more as we were unable to log in? Seeing the comp for German servers being down for under 2 hours just really rubs salt into the wounds.
