I seem to be stuck

I'm currently level 15 but I can't get any higher

I have the quest to recruit a general but I don't have enough gold coins and no way to make any
I have a quest to trade 200 wheat but I can't trade as I don't have a branch office and can't buy one till I get to level 17

It seems a bit silly that you can only go up in level by finishing adventures when the adventure can't be completed until you go up a level - catch 22
Is there anything I can do?

I also have the quest to make 50 bread - but the bakery is lvl 16+ and I'm stuck on lvl 15. Getting VERY frustrating

Surely you shouldn't receive quests that you can't do because your level is too low?

I agree the quests need to to take player lvl into account.

What have you done with your coins that you cant even buy the 1st general?
To get coins send out your geo for treasure hunts and hope he returns with coins...

One of the easter egg quests took 50 coins

I think also the issue with my level was because I found loads of stone deposits and built masons early on - then got a quest to find a stone deposit but couldn't because it said I'd already found the maximum amount

The quests are really not well thought out

on the stone deposit quest you could have waited for 1 to deplete and refind.
but thats no use to you now. Think BB will need to look at helping out cos i feel that the coins quest isnt fair, aspecially for new players.

Is there any way to fix this - I've been stuck for 3 days now
I could buy some gems and convert them to gold coins but I feel a bit cheated considering I was just following the startup quests to have to do that
Also the shop isn't working

Luckily when I went on this morning the stone quest has come back as a "waiting quest"
So I cancelled my daily one - and because one of my stone deposits has depleted so I could find another - that will give me 10 gold so I should be able to get past this now

In essence this was a badly thought out part of the easter quest chain that caught some low level players in a trap. Once you have a branch office you have many possible ways of making a few gc but below that level you can be stuck and people cant even take pity on you and trade the gold. I imagine they've learned the lesson and won't be asking for gc in future events.
