Have you ever wanted to get on to your Settlers place and quickly build something or see how its getting on? Have you then gone into your browser and your internet has gone down? Have you been limited to time and you just want to see how its getting on?
So why not have an Application for desktop but still keep online. What do i mean? Well where some people might not want an application you can still go online and play but for those that want an Application a chance to download it...
I must be missing something here, but how does having an application to play TSO through help when your internet suddenly goes down? It's still an online game...
The thing is, that when peoples internet goes down sometimes you may have a couple of seconds before it goes down, with the application you can quickly go to TSO and play even with rubbish internet. I forgot to add that having an application you can have an offline mode that allows you to farm and things like that and the changes will be made when your internet is back on.
