    A few suggestions.

These ideas might be welcomed and might not aswell, I know some might be considered as (not the settlers way) but just a little something to make settlers a little more different for once

These ideas would be based towards more end game content...

    New Quest
    Adventure Seeker

    Complete 20 different adventures

Reward - Plans to build (expert) building ( Alchemist Den )

The idea of a Alchemist Den would be a special building, where during certain adventures, players would search for unique items to craft special buildings, specialists, small rewards such as game resources, perhaps items to craft new adventures, or new special units etc.

And adding an extra idea into the mist

Special adventures which would be hard to obtain but give satisfying rewards..

Currently its easy to make end game units and not lose them, eg Elite Soldiers, Xbowmen, Cannoneers etc, where you would'nt lose them...

However if players were forced to use these special units, when fighting the new boss camps, the losses would come randomly, as in.

Losing random number of elite soldiers, a random number of Xbowmen and so on, but the bosses require these units to be defeated by, that way players may be forced into losing their best units, abd thus making players build more of the *expert* buildings, as currently with the way adventures are, we dont really need to make many of the expert buildings as it is.

So to get to the interesting part.

I was going to suggest having special adventures that take players to areas where they fight mythical creatures to obtain unique and special alchemist ingredients..

    Adventures with:

    Dragons
    Mountain Giants
Sea Monsters (Krakken) * when we get boats*
    Centaurs
    Hydras
    Pegasus

The Adventures could take place in caves, lava mountains, around the sea, maybe we can relive the ash worlds from settlers 2?

Alchemist Den was from Settlers 3 so its not really something new, mythical creatures are however.

I do love fantasy so that was my reason for adding those creatures, but still the alchemist den would give players tons of hours of entertainment collecting special and unique ingredients to create new and powerful items and buildings for their settlements...

Well thats about all I have for now, feel free to give feedback everyone, but please keep it constructive

    Nice thoughts here!
Monster hunting sounds interesting, might be implemented in some sort of General upgrade system where he becomes stronger as a hero and can carry more troops etc?

I strongly oppose using Centaurs and Pegasi as monsters!
Centaurs are a Indian-style mythological inhabitant who only go to war when invaded, and then only to defend themselves.
Pegasus is a horse with wings, that is hardly a monster

Other than that i give it +1 and Thumb up

    Hi Scrooge

Yes maybe those 2 could be taken off the list for now :P

    Here is a few more
    Chimera
    Titan
    Leviathan
    Phoenix
    Basilisk
    Hippogriff

Theres also the option of making adventures where you rescue heros, or aid special dragons, giants and so forth, for the people that didnt want to be fighting with soldiers all the time, adding storylines into the adventures, such as some adventures a Frost Giant might ask for a random ammount of resources and he gives you his treasure chest as a reward and so forth...

    One other suggestion

Lost of us are busy working 8-12 hours a day, the 6 hour buffs are not cutting it for me personally, how about 12 hours buffs being added into the game?

Make a new food drop from adventures, like Roast Chicken - yum yum

    Only 9 hours

12 hour buffs, then buffed by a friend lasting 18 hours, that would make me happy.... bring on the roast chicken!

I love this idea, like 5-20% of the high level units used in that combat but that random number goes only to one of those high level units.

Love the idea for a 12 hour buff. Also think some new or different adventures are a good idea as well.

12 hour buffs already exist, but you need to buy them from the shop.
Some things need to be left as premium option

New adventures exist as well, and can be tested on the testing server. They will find their way to the main game in time! For now I am looking forward to Easter....
