Unemployed Settlers

48 of my 60 Setelers are unemployed. Cam I assign them to work so that I can speed up my production? If so, how?

You can't use them like that.You will need them for working in more buildings and your army later

If it makes you feel better, as you reach higher and higher levels, and start doing adventures, the chance of seeing any unemployed settlers is very low indeed. I wish I had unemployed settlers.
