I know that and have done. But it would still be nice to have some new single player for those of us who choose to play alone.

yes it be cool with more adventures for sure +1
+ 1 on casel0gic's idea.
also, from the July/August dev diary...
Not sure how accurate that is considering we've heard no more about it, but it's the feature I'm most excited about at the moment.Economic adventures (approx. Nov)
Here's hoping

Yes me too, it would be great to have a little update so that we know what to expect and when to expect it.. I also back casel0gic's idea as well sounds like it could be fun to implement as well, and it also takes most of the work away from BB which they seem to like lol.
Lets hope that something gets spiced up really soon as its starting to get a tad boring now with nothing left to do..
Lets hope we get some BB response here, as they seem to be hiding from all my posts :-)
what would happen if "Pirates" invaded your island?
If they reclaimed a sector and looted burned and pillaged?
would your guild buddies be able to send an army to help?
if you had armies away doing quests would they return to save the motherland?
Or if Viking slavers descended on your island and stole boatloads of your settlers would you be able to rescue them?
What would you do for wheat with no settlers for your farms?
Would your guild buddies unite to defeat the Viking menace?
There is plenty of scope with a little creativity for the game to develop.
Loving the ideas here great idea about map editor and i also agree that new adv dont all have to be war based would like some building challenges or maybe timed productions challenges, The randomisation point is great i had a couple of similar ideas to spice up combat check these out

BB should create some new adventures with tougher enemy troops. This way there would be more challenge even for the higher lv players, who currently can pass whichever adventure in mere hours' time. Perhaps bosses which do insane damage, forcing the player to send also x-bows or cannons on suicide waves. Currently looted high end weapons are useless once a player has trained 250 of each military type (max amount a veteran can carry). Since there's no use for them, they get pushed to the market with such low prices that producing the weapons yourself isn't just pointless, it's actually illogical.
In order to make players to willingly send expensive troops to their demise, the reward must of course be something that's more desired than the cost of the troops. An easy solution would be to add a tiny gem prize. BB gives 45 gems as login bonuses weekly, so it's not like getting gems without real money payment would be completely out of the question. Also, if an adventure costs 200 xbowmen or ES or cannoneers, no-one can be playing them on a nonstop streak earning so much gems that BB'd actually lose in sales. However, the incentive of especially free players to do such advs would rise, and furthermore lootspots on such advs would be desired as well.
Another suggestion, which demands some more dev work, would be to add a new resource exclusively earned from these types of adventures. Say you could upgrade buildings to the sixth level, but it costs this exclusive resource? Or if there was a specialist with a unique talent that can be purchased with this resource? There's lots of different benefits that playing these adventures could give. The key is to make them exclusive, so the incentive to play the advs remains. BB failed by adding xbows, damascenes and cannons to adventure loots. It removed incentives from producing them yourself. If they weren't found in loot, I bet there would be a lot more production buildings around for these weapons. Currently the Dark Brotherhood is an example of an adventure that is quite costly to complete compared to the loot reward it gives. However, since it's the only non-gemconsuming way of acquiring the Witch Tower, some players are dedicated to playing the adv until they find the building. Others are willing to pay quite the premium on the average value of the loot to get the lootspot, and thus a chance of getting the tower. The same logic would apply to these adventures that would cost the most expensive military units.
As new features have been announced to be under development for lv50+ players, the timing would be perfect for the introduction of a new resource. If high level players can keep clearing adventures losing only recruits, and the occasional soldier or cavalry, then the game fails to provide any new challenge to them. If BB wants to look even further to the future, the benefits from these super-hard adventures could also be linked to benefits in pvp...
