yep - its awful at TSO atm
the only way to fix it is in BB hands Im afraid ...

Oh Linzy, I was looking to answer your other question, but I can't find where Sinister moved it to.
Turning off the hardware acceleration is fine, it won't harm your computer in any way.
We love our new CM.
