The increasingly careworn leader of a group of settlers (Jason - Christian Bale) is drifting away from his childhood sweatheart (Mary - Jessica Biel) as he struggles to juggle his personal life and production schedules. A series of strange events increases the tension - Joe, the ageing but experienced geologist (Kurt Russell) discovers the settlement's mines are all suddenly in danger of collapsing; debonair explorer Alex (Johnny Depp) returns from a voyage telling of violent raids along the nearby coastline by a ruthless group of bandits (cutaway flashback to scenes featuring bad guys including Gerard Butler, Tom Hardy); and retired/crazy former mayor Benedict (Peter O'Toole) starts talking of signs the return of the ancient Times of Crisis.

Just as he has resolved to lay down his burden of leadership and pass the baton onto someone else to focus on his own needs, Mary goes missing. Receiving word that she is being kept hostage on a nearby island, Jason undergoes a montage sequence of military training as he rallies his raw recruits into a fighting force (supporting beefcake roles played by Chris Pine, Channing Tatum).

Can Jason find his true love, keep supplies of bread up and churn out enough swords to arm his men and maintain his sanity? Or is the happy settlement to end up just another Lost Skull isle, full of easily identifiable ruins? Find out, Summer 2014.

Directed and Produced by Christopher Nolan
Uncredited script rewrites by Christopher McQuarrie
Based on an idea by Quentin Tarintino.

    The settlers film

Who are we, as a people, as a country, where are we from, what is our calling? The film revolves around the life of a young boy with big dreams, he lives his young life under the shelter of his mother and father, (hardworking, honest people, or so it would seem) the world around him appears some what condensed, unreal, but he looks out, across the town and then out across the moors and finally over the cliff he looks, down into the raging, frothy seas. what is this life he is living. he grows up and becomes a 17-18 year old man who has quite a rambunctious soul with a strong sense of wit and adventure. his house has become little more than a dump, but he keeps maps of seas and supposedly unchartered lands strewn all around his room. he tries to get men to help him cross the seas, but no one dares, he searches all through the pubs and lively buildings throughout his neighborhood but to no avail. solemnly he returns home, only to find his parents fighting. glasses smash and shouting occurs until his father picks a hammer from the table and swings wildly at the mother, our man turns and dashes from the house into the pouring rain. the tears stream uncontrollably from his eyes. he runs down, through the town and out, out across the moors until he reaches the cliffs. one, small, insignificant boat is ties to the bottom of the cliffs, our man scrambles down to it, and without looking back sets sail, into the night.
he wakes up to a bright sun streaming through a roof. people are around him, tending to him. they are foreign people. shocked he jumps from the bed and dashes outside to find himself on a small dusty island, and around him are hundreds of other small island dotted everywhere with one or two buildings. he gets to know these people who are in difficult times, with their economy farming etc. they also have a sense of adventure and know they must leave their island and homes or be doomed, so they build rafts and they all set off together. they find adventure and long lost brotherhood in each other, the townspeople and the man. the film ends as they come to an island where all their dreams become apparent, and as they step onto the shore, they know they have found something far greater than they ever expected. they found each other.

directed by Sean Penn.( Into the Wild)
Main actor Pål sverre (Kon Tiki) some main characters from the island he wakes up on leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, Isla Fisher, Gemma Ward.

In “The Settlers Online”, you start with a small town and develop it into a full-fledged kingdom for your Settlers. Advanced players are able to join guilds together and perform adventure tasks. The settlers could experience challenging missions to ensure a prosperous and thriving empire. What is even worse, players should build a stalwart unit and get empire heavily garrisoned and guarded with troops.

But how to increase your influence around the settlement? There are many factors to amass wealth, prestige and power. Only those who have wise and far-sighted planning will have a chance to be a large landowner.

First, you can check and improve the resource capacities. In a well you can pump water, grow crops on the field and in the mill, the grain is milled into flour that can be used to bake later. So during this period , your primary purpose is to take good care of your people and strengthen their work force.

In a sawmill, the trees, which can create lumber, and building materials to be processed in the copper mine. The further you advance in levels, the more buildings that will be unlocked for you.

Once your base is strengthened, you can begin to explore the surrounding area. Around your village store, robbers and vagabonds make your settlers occupy land. Equipped with the right weapons you can attack and destroy the bandit’s camp. Then expand your country and you can open up new sources of raw materials. The additional space can be used for the construction of residential buildings to provide new settlers.

On the one hand, you can find allies in the friend list and manage to talk to them in a chat channel about the game and your tactics. On the other hand, you can join guilds or start your own guild. As a guild leader, you have more power and influence to overpower camp robbers.

Pick the right partners to gain even more power and influence in the browser game “The Settlers Online”. Handle with your allies to increase your revenue and support your friends in their trade.

    THE GOOD SETTLER
    PG - Adventure | Drama | Thriller -

At six feet three, weighing 210 pounds, with big hands and bigger feet, Kippy couldn’t maintain a low profile but he tried. Shod in heavy pinewood cutter boots with a Clint Eastwood walk that came naturally to him and that he couldn’t change, he entered the tavern and sat at the farther end of the room drawing no attention to himself.

Kippy himself had never been much of a talker, He was a listener.
The Barkeeper drew a beer and put it in front of him.

” One night, you’ll walk in here with a date” The Tavern Keeper said.
“Don’t worry about me; I’ve got women beating on my door”
“Yeah but they come in pairs and they want to tell you about Jesus”
With a faint smile Kippy went back to his beer.

Not much later, a fatty explorer walked in and sat across to Kippy.
    “I’m early” said the fatty.
Kippy wasn’t sure if this was a conversation he wanted.
“You are him, aren’t you?” the fatty asked.
Kippy wasn’t sure if the fatty was drunk or was just going freestyle conversation…
“Are you him?” Fatty asked again.
“Who else would I be?” said Kippy bewildered.
    “I can’t imagine being you”
“It’s no piece of cake” Kippy said thinking of his long labor day of pinewood cutting!

placing a bag in front of Kippy, the stranger said “half of it is here. 10,000 gems. The rest when she’s gone.” As he finished speaking the fat explorer turned on his stool, got to his feet and walked out the door.
Kippy was confused; he was a pinewood cutter, what did that stranger mean? He wasn’t a killer.. All this was a misunderstanding.
Opening the bag, and reaching inside, Kippy withdrew a pile of gems with a little poster. She appeared to be in her twenties. Attractive. A name was printed and under the name was an address - The Guild.

Another man entered the bar. He was nearly kippy’s size. Looked like an experienced army man. He sat with an empty stool between him and Kippy. The Vet stared at the bag in front of Kippy and then met Kippy’s gaze. “You’re early” said the real killer.

Kippy tried his best to stay calm thinking of what just happened., he thought about the situation quickly and replied:
"I’m no longer sure I want to hire you”
Kippy opened the bag, removed the photo folded it and pit it in his pocket. I’ve had a change of heart.”
“I’m sorry to hear that but it doesn't work this way” said the Vet.
“Take the gems, half of what we agreed on, for doing nothing. ” Kippy said.
Reluctant but willing, the killer vet picked up the bag and walked away.

Having successfully passed himself as the fat explorer Kippy has spared the life of the woman in the photograph….for now.
Kippy knew that the fat explorer will be back figuring out the 'job' hasn't been completed. Who was the guild lady? and who wants her gone? Kippy knew that he had some time now- limited time to find the guild lady, to warn her and perhaps to protect her. Kippy needs to upgrade his skills first. His buildings, maybe even to gather some troops, for the lady’s life is depending on Kippy abilities and strategies. His new love is at stake! And so the thrilling chase begins, the adventure begins..

    CAST:
Kippy: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (The Scorpion King)
Guild Lady: Rhada Mitchell (Man on Fire)
The Vet Killer: Michael Madsen(Reservoir Dogs)
Fatty the Explorer: Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption)

    Mayor’s House

    Genre: Political Drama
    Director: Paul Thomas Anderson
    Cast:
    Mayor Thurmond Crady: John Goodman
    Councilman Vernon Moss: John Noble
    James Walker: Daniel Day-Lewis
    Joseph Crady: Norman Reedus
    Erin Walker: Natalie Portman
    Gene Cole: Ed Harris
    William Ball: Martin Sheen

The movie begins following Mayor Thurmond Crady (Goodman) is an ambitious and ruthless level forty-one city mayor of North Chambersburg with an iron-grip over local politics and grand ambitions to maneuver his way into the governor’s mansion of Northisle and eventually the kingdom’s throne. While North Chambersburg was once a great and prosperous city, it has suffered years of economic decline, as incessant coal shortages and population flight have significantly impaired the city’s ability to raise the armies needed to successfully adventure overseas for resources or even rebuild mines quickly.

Certain political interests have kept Crady from sleeping the bronze, iron, and steel weapons production chain, fueling the city’s high coal demands by depleting the city’s coin coffers and racking up significant gem debts with the Blue Byte Bank. Crady has kept his approval rating high by masking the worst of the city’s financial situation from the public by cooking the city’s financial records with the help of City Councilman Vernon Moss (Noble), an old politically ally of Crady who is deeply connected with the city’s bronze sword manufacturers.

Crady’s only son Joseph is an elite soldier who is just returning from a long and ultimately failed campaign overseas. Crady, whose wife died in childbirth, had always urged Joseph growing up to enter politics and strongly opposed his decision to join the military several years earlier. After an awkward reunion, Crady outright dismisses his son’s anger about the failed adventure and the need for better generals and troops for the military after Joseph reveals that most of his unit was slaughtered after their general (an incompetent political crony of his father) failed to follow the correct path and was intercepted by a far superior enemy encampment.

Crady tells Joseph that he wants him to run to succeed him in the Mayor’s House after he is elected governor. Being his son and a war hero, Crady tells Joseph he would easily win the election against James Walker (Day-Lewis), an eccentric guild leader and long-time political rival of Crady who he defeated twice for mayor, and William Ball (Sheen), an perennial candidate that the city’s big businesses despise and voters dismiss as annoying with his good-government and civic duty speeches. Joseph refuses and storms out, returning to his father’s office later that night to inform him of his decision to return to military service, but instead overhears a conversation between Crady and Moss discussing the city’s true financial situation. Later, Joseph sneaks into his father’s office and photocopies evidence of the city finances.

Furious at his father and blaming him for his terrible war experiences, Joseph takes the evidence of his father’s and Moss’ illegal dealings to Walker, hoping he would will use it to bring an end to his father’s political career. Walker’s guild represents the city’s wheat farmers, bakers, and brewers; whose livelihoods have suffered under Crady’s economic and wartime policies. While waiting in Walker’s office, Joseph meets James Walker’s daughter Erin, a beautiful attorney and they instantly falls in love and begin a relationship which both their father’s disapprove of.

Walker gives the information to the city newspapers but edited it so only Moss was implicated in the city’s corrupt financial dealings and not Crady. A relieved Crady, believing Walker had probably stolen the evidence from his office and deliberately kept him out of the scandal for now only to sabotage his campaign for governor at a later point in time, publically places responsibility for the entire scandal on Moss. After Walker and his father refuse to speak to him, a confused Joseph goes to Moss’s noble residence hoping that Moss, now ruined by the scandal, would expose his father as his partner in crime. After telling Erin where he was going, Joseph arrives to finds a distraught Moss standing on the edge of his balcony. Moss tells Joseph that early in his father’s mayoral career when Joseph decided to join the military, Crady did not want his son to be trained as a recruit and get killed as fodder in battle, so he had illegally sold several cherished building licenses to Gene Cole (Harris) the head of Iron & Steel Weapons Inc., to finance his son’s unit to be trained as elite soldiers at the city barracks. Since then, Cole had been using evidence of the illegal license deal to blackmail Crady into not sleeping any of the Iron & Steel Weapons Inc., weapons production chains (which created the coal shortfall) or else he would bring down Crady’s political career.

Moss explains the coal shortfall caused by Iron and Steel Weapons Inc.’s expanded production and Moss’s own illegal campaign financing from Bronze Sword Corporation led Crady and Moss to start cooking the city’s books. Moss then tells Joseph that Walker had no need to use the evidence Joseph had provided to bring down Crady and Moss, as Walker had always wanted to be mayor and the easiest and fastest way to get rid of his father was to let him take over the governor’s mansion, as then the mayoral election would likely be between Walker and Moss, unless Joseph had agreed to run for the Mayor’s House in which case Moss would have stepped aside. Asking how Moss planned to defeat Walker, Moss tells him that he had proof in his apartment provided by Cole and Crady that Walker and his guild had for years been illegally paying coins to the Blue Byte Bank to buff their bakeries and brewers. Moss then jumps off his noble residence.

Shaken after leaving Moss’s residence, Joseph leaves a package at a doorstep and goes back to his home where Erin is waiting for him. Crady rushes to Moss’s house after the police notify him of Moss’s suicide, but Crady cannot find the file against Walker that he and Cole had provided Moss, believing Walker had once again taken it. Unaware of his son’s betrayal and with no successor in place, Crady meets late that night with Walker to cut a deal. Crady will ensure Walker becomes the next mayor and not disclose the “rest” evidence he “possessed” relating to how Walker and his guild were paying coin for gem buffs from Blue Byte Bank and Walker will never release the unedited evidence of the city’s finances implicating Crady. Walker agrees and the meeting ends. However, Walker knows that Joseph was at Moss’s shortly before his death, having overheard his daughter on the phone with Joseph earlier discussing his trip to see Moss before their meeting later that evening. Walker correctly guesses the Crady did not actually have the evidence against him and Joseph did. Incensed that a Crady might again take away his chance at reaching the Mayor’s House, an armed Walker bursts into Joseph’s dark bedroom with a revolver and begins shooting at the sheets screaming that Joseph will never stop him and demanding the evidence. After Walker runs out of bullets, he turns on a light, and a wounded and dying Joseph tells Walker he doesn’t have the evidence anymore and moves the bed sheets to reveal Erin was also in the bed, killed by Walker’s bullets. Joseph dies and Walker runs home. Crady realizes he mistakenly sent Walker to kill his only son, but keep his mouth shut during the investigation so not to jeopardize his own political prospects as governor.

William Ball then opens his front door to find the package Joseph left on his stoop, containing not just the evidence Moss had, but unedited copies of the city’s financial dealings Joseph had originally provided Walker, everything he needed to bring down Walker and Crady. Yet armed with the evidence, the usually morally upright Ball makes the same calculation that Walker previously had: implicating the powerful Crady in the city’s financial scandal would certainly end his run for governor of Northisle but it might not be enough to unseat him in the mayoral election, and it would be easier to let Crady take over the governorship and then expose Walker and win the Mayor’s House that way.

The movie ends with scenes of Walker being sentenced to prison, Mayor William Ball shaking hands with a smirking Gene Cole at a business luncheon, and Governor Thurmond Crady making a speech supporting a server-wide bailout for Blue Byte Bank.
