[REOPENED] Quest "Longbows" keeps giving "Quest completed" notifications

Can you please move this thread back to the original bugs forums since we are getting no news/updates or progress on this with it hidden away here.

I reported the above on the 13th and other than the standard support message of "dev's are looking" i've had nothing back 13 days later.

Still not had anything back about this but for myself after having flash die on IE (yes I have the current version) and switching to firefox the constant "quest completed" message has gone away.

Today logging straight in with IE it hasn't returned and my quest book no longer has an extra blank space on it anymore.

Hi EternalPink,

Strange that switching to another browser fixed your problem in IE. I see that flash died on IE, might it be that you reinstalled it or tried other things to get it to work again in IE (like clearing browser cache or flash cache, deleting temporary files, whatever...)

Does anyone else still have this problem?
If so, does it go away if you switch to another browser?

I really hope somebody at BB gets sacked over this. This is a major insult to the players.

I soo much agree with you Hairy ! Many people still have the same problem and it's very shameful that after all the maintainances it still hasn't been fixed.
Must admit I'm one of them and i also keep getting it "completed" every few minutes...my gaming experience is now even below zero !!!

I can confirm that this bug is still alive and well.... Very annoyingly well.
Change of browser did not help. After launching in IE (using Opera normally) first popup is the longbows and after confirming the reward it immediately pops up again.

I noticed that when the issue happens quest tracker on right hand side of screen gets confused - collectibles quest there shows status of -1/-1.

Getting the same problem as everyone else I thought it was fixed until I decided to build a longbowmaker a few day ago, the quest pops when I log in and randomly throughout gameplay

After todays patch problem still persists (patch notes say that longbows q shouldn't cause problems now).
Clearing of browser and flash cache didn't help.

Same by me, also after this new patch that was supposed to actually fix things.
This is very annoying as it pops out almost every 5 minutes.
Tech support claims that it should not affect the gameplay, but LONGBOWS QUEST ISSUE actually DOES AFFECT the GAMEPLAY !

Issue with Longbows quest should be reopened and placed here, not under subforums, becouse many players still have problems.
It seems nothing has been done so far regarding it.

Are we missing the here ?

I bet that's the BB's support policy - Throw it in the dark room and problem solved...
