I understand that some words should be censored but I think that the poster should be able to see that they have been censored. Yesterday we were talking about pop tarts - a cakey goo type thing but the word tart got censored.. there is a problem here as English being the complex language it is - lots of words have multi meanings and a machine does not know what the person typing meant the word to mean as it censors out of context.
So the poster seeing stars would make it easier to actually know they've been censored and justify what they meant. Otherwise they could get a warning or ban for posting something innocuous!
