Zone 9 Camp B = 1000 fir wood logs
Zone 9; camp 1 - 50 longbows

Second wave for camp 5 I send 200 cav for a flawless victory (45 rangers left). But even if you mix for example 150 recruits and 50 cav it will cut your losses with 30-40 recruits.
Zone 9; camp 6 - 50 longbows
Sector 5 Bandit leader: 400 gold, 10 licences
Thanks guys, I won't be listing leaders btw as it's the same loot for everyone. all other camps are to my knowledge more random based on the zone.
I've just killed 1 Metal tooth and 49 roughnecks (Zone 8 Camp 4).
I've sent 1st wave as you suggested (105R 95C) but on the second wave, I've sent 125R/65B/10LB - won the battle and lost only 109R (102R minimal and 125R/5B maximum is the predicted loss by calculator).
If you send M or C, they die... this way you lose only R but less of them instead of 118-178 in 200R as you suggested in the 2nd option.

Second wave in your description you made 100R and 100C as army.
As this is the last before Mary, you probably already saved up some cav (you need 200C to sacrifice) you can use them at least all of them in the second wave.
Result second wave : 200C , 0 losses.

Camp 2 = 20 Settlers
Camp 3 = 50 Bows
Camp 4 = 50 Bows

Ill recalculate this one with your settings. however i calculate the min enemy deaths and go from there. it might be you killed more then the minimum which makes wave 2 easier.
edit: As i calculated this. the first wave of R+C kills 117 rangers minimal. so for your second wave to work you would need to kill more rangers. Not taking in account min losses makes calculations differ for people. thats why i use them so the outcome can always only be better.

How do you block properly? If i send a general with 1recruit against a camp then it will finish fighting in about 2 sec, leaving the second general to be caught by the same camp.

In Zone 8, at the last bandit camp (3), at the second wave there are only rangers (and maybe dogs) remaining. That is why a combination of recruits and cavalry (I used 70C and 50R) will result in minimal losses. Seeing that you'll need to have cavalry anyway to take on Metal Tooth, it's not even a burden on your population limit.

Zone 5 optional camp A gave me 100 tools, which I (probably on account of being a tool) really needed.
for Zone 6 camp B i got 100longbows, and A i got 250 tools

Looking at Metal Tooth (zone 8 boss) can someone explain to me why a first wave of 200 recruits is calculated as causing zero casualties? None of the opponents (MT, 50 thugs, 149 rangers) have first strike, so the recruits ought to hit and do some damage even if they die in a single round. I must be missing something obvious because both combat simulators agree they do nothing...
The recruits only hit Metal Tooth. And they do not kill him in 1 round. The recruits do die in 1 round. So they kill nothing.
