Any chance we can get the map of zone 7 again? =)
map8, camp 3: [1: 250R (172R)]
can you take Mary without soldiers?
You can, but then you need crossbowmen or cannoneers.
is the possibility with the lowest number of soldiers I could find.Code:130M 10S 60LB
max. losses: 130M 10S 10LB
thanks for such a detailed guide. It will save me a lot of units :)
I'm really stuck here.
zone 3 Camp 4
I have set up my general as directed in the pics but I get intercepted every time by the bottom camp in zone 6. I have tried my general in loads of other positions too, has anyone else had this problem or tell me where I am going wrong.
has anyone tried to skip zones 6 and 7 of sector 9 and go straight to the leader?
done dogs ,only got wild mary left ,been tryin for a month now ,get close but cant get her.can you tell me how to kill her please.getting fed up now :-(
Positioning of the General's Camp for attacking zone 6 may not have been the best location. In attempting to attack the first bandit camp in zone 6, my general was interrupted by a bandit camp in zone 9. After attacking the bandit camp in zone 9 he had only 60 recruits left to attack the bandit camp in zone 6.
This is my settings for Metal Tooth.
I use this guide for the 1st General, for the 2nd General I tried Combat Simulator.
1st General- 105R, 95C (105R, 95C)
Left Metal Tooth, 49 Roughneck.
2nd General- 90R, 60B, 30M, 20C (90R, 27M)
Victory!!
Great KillerCore ty for the info !!!
Hi there.
After the new pathfinding the General is intercepted by camp ID: Sector 6 Camp 1 when attacking camp ID: sector 3 Camp 4.
You can take 161 Recruits and attack camp 4 as usual, and immediately retreat your general after the battle in camp 6/1 (press white flag)
Good luck & have fun :)
anyone got a guide for camp 9 with a veteran???
I have a change you might want to add for sector 7, you do NOT need to kill camp 3! What you do is, after killing camp 1 and 2, send your general straight to the bandit leader (skunk), he will be intercepted by camp 4 allowing you to kill off that camp, once the camp is defeated, retreat your general, rebuild and send him after the bandit leader (skunk) again and you if using the right troops win the sector, skipping 3 not 2 camps :)
In an effort to help, I've trawled through all 34 pages of this thread and compiled all of the configurations people have used for various camps into a Google Spreadsheet. I've also plugged those configurations into a combat calculator and entered the minimum and maximum losses. For camps that require multiple waves I've put in the remaining bandits under the worst case scenario (i.e. you've killed the least number of bandits possible) and used that information for the subsequent wave. I've also added in XP amounts for each camp and totals for each sector.
Wave information in Italic is for Veteran Generals (with a maximum of 250 troops).
Blue highlighted rows are what I believe is the "optimum" configuration to send against certain camps that result in the most acceptable losses. Some of the results are quite surprising, especially when dogs are in camps.
Some items have RuneMunki next to them - these ones I've come up with, I hope they help :)
Without a doubt the most expensive camps to clear are Metal Tooth, Chuck and Wild Mary, generally requiring a huge number of cavalry to be sacrificed in order to clear the camp. What I would suggest is that when you first enter a sector see the maximum number of cavalry you need to complete the sector and build them as you clear other camps (obviously giving Recruits priority in the Barracks). For example Zone 8 (Metal Tooth) requires a total of 120 Cavalry (95 disposable) which is going to need 4800 horses, so you need to start stockpiling asap.
100 X settlers
RuneMunki, that's a brilliant collation job. I'm going through the Wild Mary camps now and this really helps.
Camp Loot Possibilities:
Add 200 stones (regular) to your list. This was recieved for Camp 3.
Edit: I believe this was for zone 8, sorry for confusion.
I just attacked Camp 4 in Zone 9. I sent only the first wave of 200 recruits. I defeated the camp and returned with 8 recruits.
Sector 9
Camp 7: Hard Camp (50 Dogs + 70 Rangers + 80 Roughnecks) [1: 200R 2: 100R + 100C (217R)]\
I have calculated this to be easily doable with [1: 60R 2: 110R 50C 40LB (167R max loss)]
That is 50R less then your suggestion...
I.
Hello,
this is my loot from camps.
Camp:
100 Iron swords
300 Coins
1000 Coal
100 Iron swords
1000 Coal
100 Settlers
300 Coins
Using cavalry in sector 3 can help reduce losses significantly. I use these combinations (max losses in brackets) for the camps in that sector.
Camp 1: (40 Scavenger + 40 Stone Thrower) [6R 1M 193C (6R)]
Camp 2: (90 Scavenger + 10 Stone Thrower) [31R 156C 13B (31R)]
Camp 3: (5 Scavenger + 5 Stone Thrower) [35C (0)]
Camp 4: (80 Scavenger + 50 Stone Thrower) [31R 1M 158C 10B (31R)]
Camp 5: (5 Scavenger + 85 Stone Thrower) [140C (0)]
Leader: (1 One Eyed Burt + 79 Thug) [84R 1M 47C 68B (84R)]
Total loss for the sector being 152R instead of 310R.
Can u add 1000 x Pinewood planks to zone 9 hard camp most probabale loot.
I have got it in 5/7 camps I popped there, once it was 1000 pine logs (joy) and once something else, dont even remember what...
That sector provided me with by far the worst loot I have got till now...
I.
I've added those onto the spreadsheet. Personally people aren't going to have that quantity of cavalry until they get into sector 8 though as they are quite resource intensive at lower levels (I know it wasn't until the end of Zone 8 that I was able to produce larger quantities). Also if you have really poor luck (under 3%) you could actually loose almost all of your troops in the final fight.
this server is good guys
One suggestion for sector 8, camp 3:
3. Medium Camp (100 Thugs + 40 Dogs + 60 Rangers) [1: 200R 2: 95C (200R)]
Wave 2: you must already have those CAV ready for the next battle anyway, so why not use them when most of the time the first wave would kill all the dogs.
The routing has now been changed for the General to attack. This battle plan was drawn up before the route change. Between camps 2 and 3 you will get intercepted by the camp you can just see under the clouds. This is a harder camp in sector 6. Also you cannot attack it until your explorer has opened up the sector and removed the clouds. I cannot remember how I beat it, mainly recruits and bowmen I think. Refer to this wonderful guide to work out how to defeat it.
It is also a good idea to move the garrison to this sector after you clear it and then attack sector 6 from the south and not where the original post says to put it, this takes the hard camp intercept out of the problem. I placed mine beside the mountains to have a straight run up and bypassed the camp on the right side
According to the combat simulator, the strategy against Chuck doesn't work. Is the simulator not accurate, or am I doing something wrong?
And how long should it take to build 115 cavalry? With 2 level 1 stable it would take more than 2 weeks!
attacking chuck involoves 3 waves , the 1st wave is the cav. So be sure to recalculate every wave in the sim.
If horses are a problem build/ upgrade more stables or try trade
Is it any use against wild mary, once the dogs are gone, to send two or even three waves of recruits at her to hit one after the other with virtually no gap in between, to defeat her or do they do no damage at all? Ive heard that leaders hit points regenerate over time so i wanted to check if this might work.
i have put my garrison in a different spot and it seems to be a pretty fast path
If you've got time to lose, while building your 1-2 waves, you could sent your general with just 1recruit,
getting the life of one lets say roughnek.
If you need 2 days to build your attack, this means lets say 40hours,10 attacks per general, you should have 2 generals, so this means 20 attacks. Or -20bandits.
Its the best ratio, if you only have recruits. 1/1
otherwise The first wave of 200 recruits wouldnt kill even 60-70 roughnecks ration 1/3.
:P
when an enemy camp has a skull with a crown it means that i have to attack twice to bring it down??
the other players told me that but in the battle simulator i put my forces and the bandit forces and it has a victory chance 100%!!!
