You managed to log in to the forum. Have you cleared all the browser cookies related to thesettlersonline.com
i even tried in another browser, nothing have worked today

yes had no problems logging in there.

A number of people have posted their logging problems under the Hallowe'en announcement and info and updates sometimes appear there before they hit the forum, though there's nothing Official just yet.
i cleared uesed different browsers still cannot login i tryed uplay i can get on there but not settlers
Keep getting an odd landing page first, then when I navigate via the 'already registered' button, get the usual homepage, but login hangs with the man swinging the hammer. Have to refresh browser which then loads up page with me logged in.
Only seems to be the UK servers, French and German loaded up normally.
i tryed that nogbad and did not work i get this message :(

Arra, you're trying to login on a signup page, don't use that screen or you run the risk of overwriting your account.
Top right on that screen, there is a pale turquoisey button labelled "already registered?".
Click that to get to normal homepage.
Then use the email login bars at top to input email add and password, then click the login button. The little man will start swinging his hammer, give him a few moments, then hit the browser refresh button, page should reload with you logged in.
If that fails, get back the normal homepage, then select the support tab, and try to login from that page, seems to work better there when French UPlay messes up, so worth a try.
Oops, "already registered?" button is light brown, not turquoise.
It's right above the dark blue button with that obscene "F" word on it. ;)
i cannot see the "already registered button" this is my normal login page i always use the bars at top to enter email and password. i have tryed loging by the support page as well also tryed the login part by the big blue button i have sent ticket to support in the hope they can help
Well, I can login, I just cant play. When i click "Play Now" i just get a blank page, and that´s it.
Edit: It works now, turned off computer for half an hour.

its the same with me, can log in to forum and even log in to uplay, but cant in to the game, i have even tried another computer, same result.
i have tryed different computors and browsers. i cleared all cookies but still wont let me in but i can login sandy and test server
One of the reasons I steer clear of the bug server nowadays, seems to carry over some kind of corruption cached that messes up here.
But you are posting with your Newfoundland a/c, to do that you have to be logged in.

Are these accounts that were previously logged into via Fakebook, then switched to UPlay?
There is someone in support who still believes that there is only 1 account per person allowed, when it should be 1 account per server.
Wondering if that misinformation has now brought some unwanted action into play?
used facebook in the beggining yes, buts thats at least a year and a half ago. and it has been working until now

i started on facebook login but got suport to change it to uplay over a year ago
OK, starting to see a pattern forming, and coupled with the timing of the landing page messing up, have just one more question which should provide the correct info for Support to have a nice heart - to - heart with UPlay.
Which server are you logging into to post these messages?
arra, you are showing as posting from Newfoundland and Wildcat is showing as sandycove.
If you are both using logins attached to different servers, then it appears that the detachment from Fakebook has partly reversed, and you now appear to have forum rights on 1 server, but playing rights on another. That shouldn't be possible, and prior history makes me think that this could take 6 weeks or more for UPlay to untangle once the situation is made clear. Sorry, hope they can sort it sooner.
i only play one server and that is sandycove. and sent a ticket 2 days ago, but still no reply. i have never played test or any other server.

Have you tried changing your UPlay password? One of the posts on FB mentions it and a handful of people in chat have said they got in after doing it.
Honestly I'm a bit nervous suggesting it in case something else goes *sproing*, though I can't quite see how it would. If anyone can see a problem with it please leap in!
Ok, that changes things a bit, if you are logged into forum then you are logged in. I s the game not showing the blue button "Play" even though you are logged into forum? That's a whole different problem.
Have you tried going to UBI's forums and logging into those using this ID? If that too fails, then looks like game and forum have got detached somehow.

Oh good! (Mostly Partly in.) Try refreshing the page when HammerMan won't stop, he does it a lot and that often helps.
Also, I have no idea what changing the password actually does to unstick things, that's something still well worth figuring out.

I just went to "uplay.ubi.com" and changed my password and fixed the issue, after 3 days I've finally logging as normal.
