I'm a level 28 player with 2 sectors on my map left to be cleared. I've been plodding along working mostly on my production infrastructure so I'm ready to start adventuring once my island is cleared. Currently my population allows me a army of 300 troops, which is OK as the bandit camps have needed no more than 200 troops to clear them. Now i'm faced with a guild quest which calls for me to have 500 troops, with a waiting guild quest of do an adventure losing less than 500 troops. Players of my level can't afford to buy nobles at the drop of the hat from trade, I could build nobles losing building slots which my mines need, shut down weapons production due to no more incoming copper, make 200 retired bandits then train the troops for the 1st quest, then do a bounty hunter to do the 2nd. then tear down the nobles to restart copper mining. Alternatively I could buy gems for nobles but wont as I see being forced to part with cash to do a quest as unethical.
Whoever is responsible for these quests clearly needs to be introduced with a terminal velocity block of granite until a state of enlightenment is achieved.
Please, please stop the blue sky dreaming and start making common sense decisions about new quests.
