The (very expensive machine that goes) 'ping' that makes sure things progress is broken again.

It has been the biggest (for me) source of discomfort, in various deployments spawning quest that were completed, in others not spawning at all.

Now it is different and improved, true new feature. Sent my generals for the block, visited home (I am somewhat confident)... was the +1 day hour and the reward window didn't ping on its own... daily quest was there (no ping again). Refresh would fix things - so I got the reward.

Going back in adventure was another story... the client was off synch - generals were about where I left them on the screen; silent ping, client tries to get its synch - generals walking 50 flags away from target but the messages say intercept... 10 more seconds, another silent ping, more messages, this time attacks, the animation changes from a camp to another, generals still walking 35 flags away... another ping, more changes, more attacks. I visit home, this used to force synch on adventures. Upon return things go their merry way, 50 messages etc. 20 minutes later leader falls, generals start returning... well, they were separated by 8 flags at start, they return 7 minutes apart. Block worked.

I am very certain the logs say adventures are working as before (in intent and declarations) but are messed up by the new features.
