Help please.
I am very new to game, and have so far got pinewood cutter and sawmill, have max planks in Mayors House.
I can't seem to get to level 3 though' to start forester. Is it just a question of waiting for days or am I missing something?

It's probably a quest that needs to be done. Check the quests list (yellow flag exclamation point on left side of the screen).
The best help for issues in game is the help chat. Look at the bottom left, there are tabs, one of them has a ? on it - that's the help chat. Type in what you are having problems with and generally you will find lots of people that can help you out.

Thank you for reply, but 'HELP' tab not working, text box unresponsive.
Have done all I can on Quests but need level 3 to build forester, but can't do that until I reach level 3

You might have to click in the text box once you change tabs. <-- Edit, sorry - I forgot you need to be level 5 to use chat. I don't think that should apply to the help chat but currently that's the way it is.

According to the Wiki, at level two the next task is to build a pinewood sawmill. I don't see anything else. And you say you've done that.
Have you confirmed the quest? You have to click the green check mark in the quest screen. If you don't have any quests at all then I have no idea, all you should need is the pinewood sawmill.

AH! - It says you also need to click on the Mayor's house. Try that
