Hello fellow settlers! I have received word from the explorers that on a recent expedition they stumbled upon a tavern filled with other fellow settlers just like yourselves who have setup a communication hub! They call it 'The Woodcutter's Tavern', and apparently they use it to organise trading and just have a good ol' gossip! You should check it out some day if you get the chance.

The explorers' report describes how their are several rooms inside the tavern, each with its own purpose. They couldn't fit all of the rooms into their report, but they did mention the most important ones!

General Chat
This seems to be where most of the general day to day conversing takes place. The Lucky Explorer seems to have taken an interest in this particular room because of the large amount of brew the bar has to offer.

Help Chat
This places always looks packed to the rafters with many seasoned veteran generals waiting to give their advice.

Lootspots Chat
The bartering corner of the tavern. Many merchants spend their days in here at their stalls, waiting for someone to purchase their adventure invitations.

Guilds Chat
This is where the guild masters accumulate. Many new and fresh wanderers of the land appear here in search of guidance and prosperity (and free stuff).

All roleplaying aside, for those of you who don't know, Discord is a completely free text and voice channel based server system used by millions of gamers across the world. You can access it on any device, even in your browser, and it's all realtime.

The idea behind this server was to create a central hub where fellow members of the TSO community can hang out on a day to day basis with other likeminded people and just chat Settlers. As you can see from the above section, we have several categories aimed to cover all aspects of chat, from guilds to lootspots to help, as well as some other non-TSO related chat channels which aren't mentioned there. Alongside the text channels are also voice channels which you can hop into to chat with other settlers.

So what are you waiting for?
