    Population growth ...

Why does it seem , in the last year or so , if I am not online my population ceases to grow ?
Is this part of the game mechanics now ?
If so I don't see how I will ever be able to reach 3000 population as I could in the past .
I can't build an army to go to battle etc .
    Regards Rex.

Let's suppose you are familiar with max. settlers count vs. flats count on your island, right? Then there is one more aspect. If you will not login and start the game for couple of days (even after 24 hours already IIRC) and/or none of your ingame friends/guild members will visit your island then your game will "freeze" - productions will stop, mine extraction will stop etc. ... and population acquisition will stop, too.

If you do not want to wait the population grow naturally you still can "manufacture" settlers in both types of provision houses from bread. These are collected in the Star, from where you can drop them on to Mayor's... of course until free flats in residences run out.
