    Pegi 7 and Mods

Since this game is Pegi 7 why are mods so heavy handed both in game and on the forum? Surely they realize both new players and kids will ask questions in chat and forget which chat is which and so on..... So why are they so abusive and heavy handed?

Also... Can we the players see the Police checks done on mods? As they are in a position of Power and this is Pegi 7 and any potential care giver Or person who would have power over a minor has to have a police check done on them.... Are these checks Allowed to be viewed publicly? Speaking as a Parent I wouldn't trust someone else to ensure those who could potentially be mentoring / monitoring my kids do not have a history or even a blemish to show their is even a chance something could happen....

On other games that are designed for Adults I would not ask... but this is Pegi 7 and I am just asking if we are Allowed to know if Police and Criminal checks have been done on the Moderators and if they are available to the players to ensure minors welfare?

This is a reply to your other post that got deleted for "unknown reasons" lol..

I feel for you, but unfortunately most online games that have chat/forum communities will act like this. When you have players that have been on for a long time, they usually form a circle (me against them) and newbies will often experience this the hard way.

Often these "circles" will get priviliges from MODs and other in game authorities, in many cases unconciously, this is a very common phenomen in societies (both irl and online) and is a very interesting study in social psychology.

This, among other cases in this forum and this game, is a perfect example of the above mentioned behavior. I agree with you that this obvious troll as well as many other "experienced" players should have been banned several times but weren't. Unfortunately, this is how societies work.

For the confused ones, the deleted post was about why OP got warned while an obvious troll, regular player who should have been banned long ago, still roams the forum unpunished.

    Hi CB-2,

The moderation team does not supervise children. They supervise chats and make sure the adults in the chat respect the rules.
The PEGI 7 rating is ensured to protect children as well and must serve as a reminder that people of all ages play the game.

It is up to the responsible adults playing the game to make sure the younger children playing are not subjected to mature conversations. The moderation team is only here to help people in this.

No Police check-up is needed in this case.

Also, please learn the rules you keep copy-pasting in your posts. They clearly state that complaints are to be send to support and that you should not use mature language in the forum or in-game chat.
Unfortunately you have not respected these rules in previous posts and threads of yours I have taken off the forum. If you continue in this manner I will have no choice but to remove your rights and take the appropriate actions to prevent you from posting further.

    Thank you for understanding.

    BB_Azariel

    PS: closing this.
I am no longer the Community Manager for this version of TSO. Please send any question to BB_Ravel.
