lost storage house in sector 5..it just vanished

I have 3 mason structures in sector 5 close to the stone mines. I destroyed a mine an I realize there was space to build another structure by the stone...I thought the storage building would block the stone mine being built in searching for a new mine. What happen was It vaporize my storage building instead and built the mine. I lost a license and I lost the resources... Don't care about the resources but I do care about the lost storage house. I do believe there was 100 storage increase but...I still don't have a storage building to increase. I am clueless on how to make the storage house appear so I can build it up to level 5...

What I have done so far:
I reboot system to clear cache. HELP!?!

Not sure what is happening here. Would you be able to provide a screenshot on sector 5 and tell me where your storage house was exactly?
It would also help if you could tell us:
    • How many Storage Houses and what level?
    • What's the level of your Mayor's House?
    • What's your max storage capacity?

Rebooting you computer doesn't necessarily clear your cache. If you need help clearing your cache, look at this page (scroll down a bit to see the links per browser and select the link naming the browser you use to play The Settlers Online)

This sounds more like a graphics issue. If you do indeed have 100 more storage then from what you say I would suspect the mine/quarry image is over the top of the storehouse image.

You're not really meant to be able to build on top of a Quarry spot:

    but often you can:

Unfortunately, while a Quarry will usually build under the building with no problem, when the Quarry collapses the building goes too. If it's a regular License building from the build menu it really is vaporised and you should get the License back. If it's a Deed building bought from the Trade Office with resources or the Merchant with gems it goes back to the Star menu and can be rebuilt somewhere safer.

Since yours was a Storehouse I'm afraid it really is gone and must be rebuilt from scratch but any extra resources stored there may indeed remain, they often stay for a time even when a Storehouse is removed:

The 1,500 over my limit of 36,100 is from a level 3 Storehouse I blew up before building the new one. (Curiosity you know. ) I wouldn't rely on that though, building a new Store fairly quickly to hold them is, again, much safer. Even better is to build the new Store first but like now that's not always possible.

It's not a perfect answer to the problem but I hope it helps a bit.

Disclaimer: It's probably wise to keep in mind that while the discovery of the things mentioned above is often accidental building on a Quarry spot is pretty clearly not intended and the return of a Deed building to the Star and excess 'ghost' storage may be iffy so if anyone is considering using them consistently it's 'at your own risk'.
