I went to a friends island and buffed 6 of his buildings in the sadly kipped quest. It has not registered as done?
Couple of things to check - You can try refreshing, sometimes it can be a little slow to register. If this does not work, check you met the exact requirements eg. correct buff type.
(Also, i'm sure it's not a waiting quest, but if it is you need to wait until the waiting quest moves into daily/guild quest section by clearing the current daily/guild quest.)
